"Iâ ve hired AGI for several projects, including installing granite countertops in my backyard gazebo and various Airbnb properties. Each time, theyâ ve delivered exceptional quality and craftsmanship. The team is professional, punctual, and their attention to detail is second to none. The durability and finish of the countertops have consistently impressed my guests and added a touch of elegance to each property. "Armored Painting did an absolute fantastic job on our house. My wife and I could not be any happier with the way our house turned out. They were very neat, no paint drips or unwanted brush marks on any of the brick or driveway. Nelson walked the house with me and had his crew touch up any places they may have missed or just needed another coat of paint. They were able to finish my house in one day instead of the 5-7 days others were quoting; they had 7 or 8 guys working on the house. Extremely happy with the results, and would definitely recommend them to paint your house."

Drywall questions, answered by experts

Yes, you can put paneling over textured walls. Of course, this will come down to personal preference and the type of paneling you want to install. From board-and-batten to shiplap and wainscoting, there are plenty of options to choose from.

Plastering lasts for around 15 to 20 years without needing repairs or maintenance in most cases, and with proper upkeep, plastering can last a lifetime—sometimes more than 100 years. Plaster repair costs between $1 and $3 per square foot, and you may need these services once every 15 to 20 years or so unless you have a harsh climate where humidity changes are a constant issue. You can also opt to skim-coat plaster for between $0.90 and $1.30 per square foot, which may serve you better in the long run.

Costs range from $500 to $5,000, depending on damage size, labor, and finishing requirements.

Costs depend on damage size, labor rates, and whether additional services like painting are required.

There is no way to cut drywall without making dust, but you can reduce the amount of dust and especially the dangerous airborne particles by using manual cutting tools. Using a utility knife to score and snap your drywall will minimize dust production, and a jab saw for cutting cutouts for boxes and fixtures will generate almost no airborne dust. Even if you use these methods, you should still wear a respirator and safety goggles to avoid damage to your lungs and eyes.
