"Alex and Jose were top notch! They did a complete demo and remodel of both bathrooms. They were able to do EVERYTHING with ease including plumbing, retexturing, shower tile, bath tube installation, Toilet, vanity, medicine cabinet, Sheetrock, Vent fan, floor tile, baseboards, and etc. I was very impressed by the whole project. Alex responded quickly and actually worked on the project daily along with Jose. They respected my home by laying protective materials on my hardwood floor where they frequented. I recommend them for any job and would hire them again in a heartbeat. Price was by far the best of all 6 quotes I received from other contractors. You won’t regret their services. (Note: pictures attached are before paint as we elected to do that ourselves for pleasure)"

"Omar and team did great work. Old insulation was removed and ceiling penetrations sealed on the first day with the new insulation installed on the second day. Omar was onsite the entire time and actually did the new insulation install. I was pleased with the quality of work and recommend."

"The process was quick and easy, but I was expecting less mess. I was assured everything was getting sucked into a bin in their truck, but black ick blew out of every vent during the process. We had just painted and thank goodness, had not had the new carpets installed yet, but it was a big mess. The guys cleaned up as best as they could and they were both really professional and kind, but it was messier than I expected. I will be doing this every 3 years, as the guys recommended and the house feels and smells so much better. Totally worth it. Just be prepared and cover everything like you are having painters!

"I can't say enough about how pleased we are with Cedrick's work in our home.  I was most impressed with how he was so willing to try to utilize our existing system where he could and keep the cost of updating it to a minimum.  He is exceptional at treating each installation as a completely custom situation.  He has an amazing ability to do this, given that I'm sure no two systems are ever alike.  I also appreciated that I did not have to call another contractor to create the custom cabinetry required for the controls or a separate electrician for the power outlet, Credrick handled all of it.  The installation went flawlessly and neatly in ever respect.  I was also very impressed with the amount of time he spent training me on how to run all the new parts, making sure I had an in-depth understanding rather than just a high-level knowledge.  I already am confident that I can fully run and utilize all the new, sophisticated technology, even when something unexpected happens, which it always does when you are dealing with wifi, electronics, Apple products, multiple remotes, multiple users, etc.  It sounds complicated, but Cedrick made it as effortless as possible.  I would definitely recommend Cedrick for any type of media installation.

"I feel incredibly overcharged. I was in a hurry and let myself just commit to getting the work done, but after researching the work I had done, and given the fact that I purchased the parts (they installed the fan I purchased by model number), I feel $700 for labor + $80 for service call was highway robbery. I should have said no and looked elsewhere. They will not be receiving any more of my money and I have asked, after repeated calls from them, to be put on their do not call list."

"This ended up being a 1-day effort by 4-5 men, led by Larry Means (brother of Charles, who did all the contact work).
They accomplished all of the above from 8:30 AM to about 4 PM including cleanup.
We were pleased that the hot water heater door could be repaired and not replaced - some estimates of replacement of this 24" door (vented) were above $1000.  It was Larry's thinking that made it possible - he has the mind of a handy man - do what can be done rather than grand plans that lift the costs.  Replacing of facia, some flashing and soffit went well - the painted results were great (we had painted 2 sides of the house before recognizing we were in over our heads - we provided the paint for the job as we had some already and the color would match).  Painting and caulking were of the highest order.
The mudded interior wall spot matched the existing texture - nice work.

Bathroom Fan Installation questions, answered by experts

While ceiling fans are built for regular use, running them continuously without breaks can lead to overheating and wear over time. If your fan has a thermal shutoff feature, it may stop running to protect the motor. To extend their lifespan, it’s best to turn fans off when they’re not needed.

Selection relies on matching fan size and power to attic volume and ensuring compatibility with home electrical systems and ventilation requirements.

For a 12x12 room, a fan between 36" and 50" will work, as it falls in the range for spaces up to 144 square feet. These size fans provide adequate air circulation and ensure a comfortable environment without being overpowering. Even better, they come in a broad range of styles, offering aesthetics and functionality, making them suitable choices for maintaining an ideal room temperature and enhancing overall comfort.

Whole-house fans cost significantly less to run than a window AC unit. You'll pay an average of $0.01 and $0.05 per hour to run a whole-house fan compared to $0.06 to $0.88 per hour for the cost to run a window AC, depending on its size and the size of your home. They also use far less electricity than traditional central AC units.

If your ceiling fan is humming, that's usually a sign of an electrical issue. A low-pitched grinding sound could be caused by the motor or a lack of lubrication in the bearings, but a true humming sound will be caused by a failing capacitor or faulty wiring. Unless you have experience with electrical issues, you should call a pro for any ceiling humming noises.
