"I am very happy to give King Pest Solutions a 5 Star review. Their representative, Eric, arrived on time and gave me an overview of what he was going to do to protect our house from termites. Together we walked around the perimeter of my house and he showed me the tools he was going to use and answered all my questions before getting started. The process took about 2 1/2 hours to complete and my home is now protected. Eric was efficient and knowledgeable about the process and, once again, made sure all my questions were answered before leaving. I will certainly continue to work with King Pest Solutions in the future."

"We have used Stampede Pest Control for 13 years. We fell for a door-to-door sales pitch from another company when we moved to our new house, and it was a disaster. We rushed back to Stampede as soon as we could. They got rid of a roach problem the other company treated for 4 months. Stampede wiped the roaches out in one visit! Another time I had indoor fire ants from a huge bed by our foundation. Gone in one visit too! They are the most professional, well-organized company I have ever dealt with. Quarterly treatments outside with pet-safe products, and free re-treatments. If you are having indoor problems, they treat that as well. Just to give you an example of their service: our yard was treated on 12/7. That night we had a terrible storm and torrential rain. Due to my concern about it, they are coming to re-treat the yard. The pricing is the best around. I couldn't be happier with their whole office operation (and you know how important that is), and the servicing technicians!k (Quaterly price quoted below includes tax)"

Pest Control questions, answered by experts

Roaches won’t sting your pets and don’t have venom like spiders do , but they present other dangers. Cockroaches are notorious carriers of diseases like salmonella and parasites like tapeworms. Because they’re so dirty, their bites (otherwise harmless) can also get infected. You don’t want your pets chasing and trying to eat cockroaches, or sleeping near a roach infestation.

Scented mouse deterrents, like peppermint oil, can be effective in the short term. The pungent smells may temporarily repel mice, but they lose effectiveness as the scent fades or mice get used to it. The main drawbacks are frequent reapplication and the fact that these deterrents don't address the root cause of the infestation, such as entry points or food sources. While they can be part of a broader strategy, scented deterrents alone are rarely enough to eliminate a mouse problem.

While the spotted lanternfly’s favorite place to stay is the trees and plants they gorge on, they can occasionally congregate in large numbers on buildings and other structures. This may be for height, warmth, or other unknown reasons. However, rest assured that the insects do not do any structural damage to the buildings, and will likely move on within a few weeks or perish with the colder weather.

Popular nesting areas outside of a home include eaves, porches, gutters, and chimneys. However, some birds can make their way into your attic or ventilation systems. A reputable removal service will inspect your home's interior and exterior for any evidence of roosting and nesting birds while they prepare to remove them.

Honey bees are most likely to swarm during spring and early summer, typically from April through June, as colonies expand and prepare for new growth. Swarming occurs when a hive becomes overcrowded, prompting the queen and a group of worker bees to leave in search of a new nesting site. During this time, you may notice a temporary increase in bee activity around your property.
