"Luis is very good with people. He knows how to interact with you in the initial meeting to give you the confidence his team can do a quality job and that they know what they are doing. I talked to a few companies, and he was the best at that and got the job. I wanted to wait a few months before posting a review, because I wanted to see how the concrete was aging. So far, so good. No cracks and everything seems to be of the best quality. I know that there are two type of concrete. Concrete that will crack and concrete that has cracked. It's inevitable to happen, but for it to go through its initial hardening cycle with no cracking was a good sign for me. There were a few annoyances where I didn't think they were listening to me as they were doing the job. This led to them having to come back and do some re-work, but the re-work solved the concerns. I never saw Luis after the initial meeting and felt that if he would have come and see the job with his own eyes, he would have better understood what I was saying. This was not the case during contracting as they were listening and added terms that I thought should be in the contract. All in all, I would hire them again. I know that I would have some different conversations in the beginning, but it was far from a bad experience. As said, just some annoyances. From a price stand point, I felt they were competitively priced for the quality of work. If you value quality over the cheapest price, I think you will be happy. If you are looking for the cheapest price, you can probably beat their price, but it is highly likely that you will sacrifice quality."

"I hired Blake and company to pour a 15x38 stained and stamped patio. The cement pour, color and stamp turned out very nice. The problem I have is instead of letting the concrete sit for about 2 weeks, he sealed it after 3 days. It looked horrible as the moisture came up through the concrete and left white marks everywhere. His answer was more sealer (3 coats) and still looks bad. This was to be done by 12/1/18 and he wants to wait until spring to finish by putting another coat of sealer on it. I've researched and talked to other concrete installers and it will cost me $1164.00 to fix as sealer was put on too early. The sealer has to be stripped, let dry and only 2 thin coats reapplied. NTX has directed me to have another company fix the problem and has refunded me the money to make me whole and not be out any more cash above our contract."
