The second was significant when a very large pine tree was hit close to our house causing various electrical issues in the home -- despite having a whole home surge protection system. Just months after having the lightning rods installed, lightning struck an even larger pine tree in our small back yard, Thankfully, the lightning rods saved us! There are always issues with every project whether it's audio-visual stuff to building a pool but Tom and his son always communicate and let you know the solutions and associated cost prior to performing the work. I really do believe that the cost is a phenomenal value. I've left the house open for him while I'm not there and he goes above and beyond and takes care of my dog and sends me a picture of the closed garage door when he leaves the home. However, I was charged four hours, and I noticed that the time did not equal 4 hours after I saw Nathan take an hour's lunch, which I believe was added to the service hours. Additionally, I noticed after he left that he left the panel off of the circuit breaker, leaving it for me to re-install."

"I had a very disappointing experience with HR Phoenix Electrical. The electrician arrived about 50 minutes late ? which I was willing to overlook ? but it quickly became clear the technician was moving extremely slowly. After taking a long time to diagnose the issue, he told me I simply needed a new GFCI outlet. I?ve replaced these myself before for under $20, so I was surprised when he quoted $298 for the hour, despite only being there roughly 30 minutes at that point. He then said he had to leave and purchase a GFCI from a hardware store ? surprising for such a basic and common part. He assured me he would be back, complete the work, and still finish within an hour total. Instead, he was gone about 25 minutes, returned, and ended up barely over the one-hour mark. Because of that, he charged me for a second full hour, even though the delay was entirely due to his slow pace and leaving to buy a part he should have had on-hand. I would've done it myself if I knew he was going to lie."

"Joe did a tremendous job for us. We found out after swapping out a breaker that the whole panel had been hit by lightning previously. We requested quotes from 5 different electrical contractors. While Joe was not the cheapest, he provided the best value for our dollar. He provided the best in electrical parts, including new disconnect and surge protection (now required by code) that included some of the best warranty on the market, lifetime warranty on his craftmanship, and provided 5 different quotes depending on any upgrades we wanted at the time. He took the time to share each of those with us, explained the differences, and allow us to determine what would work best for us. He handled all the scheduling with city and power company that worked within our schedule and was quick to reach out to us for any scheduling conflicts. We'll definitely be utilizing Glow Joe again for any of our electrical needs."
