"We chose Cornerstone Masonry for a concrete retaining wall project with an amphitheatre built in the middle. They offered competitive reasonable estimates and actually offered what we didn't know we were looking for in chop block and flagstone. We thought we wanted a concrete wall with some texture or veneer decoration, but when we saw the chop block option we knew immediately that's the one. Phil, the project manager, has decades of experience in this business and is very knowledgeable of the craft. He and his small crew of Roger and James worked diligently and precisely to bring our idea to life. With Phil's suggestion we also had an area next to our driveway that was just stepping stones redone with flagstone. Tim, the owner, was always timely in communication and responsive to texts and calls from us with questions or concerns about the build. Cornerstone Masonry removed and hauled away our old railroad tie wall, built us an amazing beautiful wall with amphitheatre and slab, and did it quickly and efficiently. "They were the cheapest but not the best or fastest. I now have trenches left in my yard, some lines are barely buried 1" in the ground, and vaults not set flush that are 2" above grade. Gabriel didn't keep his schedule and showed up without notification multiple times even on the weekends. He would show up at 5 pm or later, work and hour and leave. He doesn't actually measure during planning, so what he originally quoted as a 9 zone sprinkler system ended up being 11 zones to cover my entire yard. He did add an additional zone at no additional cost, which was nice. If you want cheap, Gabriel is a good choice. If you want good or fast, I would go with someone else."
