"Electrician came, and presented himself very professional. He quoted at a fair price and explained the process. He then came at the time we agreed and did the job that needed to be done. He sent me the invoice and I paid the invoice immediately, he is my go to company for electrical work. Recommend 100%"

"Joe is a master electrician in every sense of the word. He upgraded my service panel from 125 amps to 200 amps, ran service to my new shed, installed outside lighting to my patio and installed a pair of new outlets. He was the ultimate professional during the entire process which took much less time I thought it would. I recommend Camacho Electric for any electrical work and I will use no one else."

"Jim Benton of Country Boys Electric came out the day after my call for a bid.  He walked through our shell of a log cabin in the woods, was very thoughtful, made many great suggestions about where to put lights and plugs, described the work they would do and within a few days we has his written bid.  We liked and trusted Jim immediately and they started to work in a few days.  His workers were very professional, arrived on time, worked well with us.  They did all the wiring and then had to wait about a month for the sheetrock and painters to do their work.  We called them back and they were ready to install lights and fans and finish the job.  We were so please with their work.  They were very reliable and on time, even though they had to drive 40 miles from their shop to our place each day.We would highly recommend them to others.

Electrical questions, answered by experts

Short circuits can cause significant damage to electrical appliances, bodily harm, and potentially death to humans. For this reason, they are a serious occurrence. If you’re unable to find and fix a short circuit on your own, you must reach out to a licensed electrician for help.

If there’s already a suitable outlet near the range, you likely won’t need an electrician to install an over-the-range microwave. However, if there isn’t an existing outlet or the current one doesn’t meet the microwave’s power needs, you’ll probably need an electrician to install a new outlet.

Homeowners insurance policies will typically cover your cost to replace an electrical panel if damage occurs due to a covered circumstance such as fire, lightning, or certain types of accidents. Regular wear and tear or damage due to neglect might not be covered, so it's essential to review the policy details and consult with your insurance provider on the specifics of your coverage.

Removing a fuse from the fuse box is relatively safe under normal circumstances. The task becomes dangerous if wires or wire terminals are exposed or in the case of a disaster such as flooding in the home where water can act as an electrical conductor.

Electric bills tend to be lower in spring and fall because people use less electricity during these seasons. Milder temperatures allow for less use of heating and cooling, unlike during winter and summer, which usually bring more extreme temperatures.
