They actually would have come out faster than I could get back home from work! They pulled up carpet, sprayed mildew and mold block and put it back down. "They lied to me from the start they promised you this and that and will be done in three weeks it took 7 weeks and things weren't done I came to my house while they were working on it I see one worker laying down on my sectional couch dirty boots on the arm of the couch smoking a cigarette, beer cans on my counter top , they didn't hang two lights that was supposed be hung , so my son installed them , they didn't replace a door the fireman kicked in , my son replaced that , I paid for the door and lights out of my pocket and never got compensated , my sons memorial necklace was taken and other stuff in my house was missing , alcohol was missing , leaf blower ,my arrow head collection, packages in my closet was missing , this company is not to be trusted"

To ensure an even and unbending surface to lay tiles on, you’ll typically need to put a subfloor under a tile floor. Fiber cement backboards are the most common choice, but using plywood is also possible. Don’t neglect this step, or you could risk water damage and grout or tiles prematurely cracking or crumbling, especially in an area with high foot traffic. 

It’s not a good idea to lay tile and grout on the same day. The adhesive or thin-set that sticks the tiles to the surface needs plenty of time to dry before you can grout. Wait for 24 to 48 hours, depending on moisture levels in the space. The tiles can become misaligned and more prone to damage if you don’t wait.

Bathrooms are naturally moisture-rich environments, so choose a durable, water-resistant tile for your tub surround. Porcelain and ceramic are two popular options that are also quite affordable. Glass is another good option that’s also low-maintenance—you just need a glass cleaner like you would use on the bathroom mirror. Natural stone tile is porous, but it’s still a viable option if you choose it in a glazed version.

Penny tile should be sealed to protect the grout from moisture and keep stains from damaging the look of the tile. If penny tile is in a humid or high-traffic area, like a bathroom, kitchen, or entryway, it needs sealant. Any type of tile and grout is best maintained with a sealant reapplied by a pro every one to two years.

Porcelain and ceramic tiles are made from clay, but porcelain tiles are fired in a kiln at a higher temperature. This makes them more durable, but it also means porcelain is more expensive than ceramic at $3 to $5 more per square foot.
