Have hole in our metal roof that is leaking into the attic after 3-1/2 yrs. He came out and taped it up. He is a nice man BUT he want's to repair it the same way he built in first place - which quite evidently did NOT work, and was not the proper way for it to be INSTALLE, according to a couple of other roofers and fireplace folks we have spoken with. (and gotten bids to repair). We may have eto replace 2 full 31 ft. sheet metal panels on roof due to hole being cut too large (verified thus far by 3 other people). The job does not look professional, once you go up and look at it on roof --- it appears to be a horrible job done. I was also told possibly wrong type of screws were used. There are way too many holes in roof which did not even hold what he put in to support chimney flashing boot. He also said either the seam ripped -- or not -- unverified, and wants to use exact same stuff, which I was told by 2-3 other bidders would NOT work - yet he still wants to repair it 'that way' AND charge me labor to fix his mess. He said he does not guarantee his workmanship from wind. If it had been installed properly, the wind would not have affected it. We were not offered a support kit/bracket kit - or anything else to support chimney from wind - EVEN AFTER WE ASKED FOR IT! He said he will not help us with expense to repair. I have gotten several bids and the latest is pushing my deductible of $1500. It LOOK HORRIBLE! It is a botched job, no matter how you look at it and he is not taking responsibility for that. BEWARE - he may can clean chimneys? (don't know/never hired him for that) - and the woodburning stove is great -- but what good is spending $4300 if you have to turn around and COMPLETELY have the job redone on the roof 3-1/2 years later to tune of $1500? I am not even sure if that price includes labor. Why would he want to do the same thing over again if it didn't work? Because of something about warranty. But what good is a warranty if he does not warranty his workmanship. And what good is warranty on a chimney that won't stay put and is fixing to fall off roof. I highly recommend not using this person for chimney install on metal roof. Again, he is nice man, BUT that does not compensate us for our damages. Beware. I have been trying for TWO full weeks to try to get someone to repair this mess properly. It's such a nightmare. I am so stressed out over this. Everyone says his job is horrible.

They were prompt. He did exactly what I asked, and didn't try to sell me other services. Everything went well.

He was very professional and knowledgeable. He explained some complications with my flue and offered suggestions for correction. I was very pleased with all aspects of his service.

This owner made the necessary visit to examine my fireplace and chimney before hand. He uses a product from a nationally recognized firm. His reference check showed over 20 years of successful chimney and fireplace work. My home has a high rising chimney with a very steep roof to climb. They handled every challenge the job handed to them. The installation is beautiful and the insert works great. The price was right. They cleaned up everything after the job was finished.
