"Greg (owner of Black & White) and his team managed the construction of our new custom home from start to finish. Everything from the demolition of the existing house to the finishing touches on the new build were included in the scope of work. We selected Greg because he presented his bid as requested and fully communicated the roles and responsibilities of all involved parties. His bidding was straightforward and offered transparency on costs. Communication was prompt and he worked with us on re-bids as the scope of work changed. Once selected, Greg assisted with reviewing of our plans and identified potential issues prior to starting work. From there, he managed the entire process while getting our input as necessary with proper lead time to not impact the overall schedule. The B&W crews and subcontractors were all stand-up people who were trustworthy and delivered the expected quality of work. "Had them come over to estimate the job as it was much more than what 4 hours would cover. They honored the deal and took off the amount from the final. The estimate of the number of days stretched by one day, but not a problem on my end. They scheduled their work, plus some handled by a drywall subcontractor and a roofing subcontractor. They were courteous and cleaned up every day."

"The project was finished in about 2 1/2 months, as promised. Dave was on the job every day, and his team was timely and conscientious. Because he undertakes only one job at a time, we always felt that we were a priority. The workers packed up our kitchen for us before they started. There were several additional small projects that were suggested by Dave during the course of the job, they were reasonable additions and completed timely and at a fair price. His attention to detail is a great asset. Dave accompanied us to choose granite, tile and backsplash and his recommendations were consistent with our preferences and tastes. After Dave's initial bid in mid-March, we called him back to expand the scope of the job, lengthening the amount of time the remodel required. He was receptive to the changes and able to balance the longer project with his other clients. Dave was able to schedule us to begin in June and finished the job toward the end of August. My husband works from a home office and was appreciative of Dave's consideration of his schedule during a loud and dusty project. We were never concerned about having any of the workers in our home. Dave works with subcontractors he has known and relied on for many years, and they did an outstanding job as well. Due to weather delays, and Dave's desire to keep his team working, we had the added bonus of getting additional rooms painted."

The subcontractor's plumbing, electrical, painting and carpentry were all A plus.

Our only regret was using Wisenbacker as suggested by Brandon for granite and tile work. As a note of caution,

Wisenbacker products are of high quality, but their installation quality varies  from unacceptable to A plus.

With the hard work of my husband and Brandon working with Wisenbackers installation issues were resolved.
