The subcontractor's plumbing, electrical, painting and carpentry were all A plus.
Our only regret was using Wisenbacker as suggested by Brandon for granite and tile work. As a note of caution,
Wisenbacker products are of high quality, but their installation quality varies from unacceptable to A plus.
With the hard work of my husband and Brandon working with Wisenbackers installation issues were resolved.
"Dear Member, I am truly sorry if this was the impression that I left you with, it was never my intention to insult your home or subdivision. I believe you read into our disscussion more than what I was actually saying. I would never insult or degrade a client, or any person, the way you are describing our conversation. I was asked my opinion of what your real estate agent told you that you needed to do to sell your home, and with my experience, most real estate agents can go a little over board on what they expect their clients to change in a home to make it easier for resale. When everything in that home will boil down to a specific buyers taste, you can't make everyone happy! As a contractor, I make my money as a percentage of the work that I have performed in a clients home. So it does not benefit me in any way to advise you not to do something, I was merely trying to help you avoid spending extra money on things that would boil down to an individual's personal taste in the long run. When deciding to sell a home, you have to take into account the price point of that home, and keep from doing renovations that may price the home above market value. I felt that you had a very nice home and I honestly don't believe that you need to make all of those changes to be able to sell it. But, if you were planning on staying in the home, then by all means make the changes that will satisfy your taste. Once again, I am very sorry that is what you gathered from our conversation."
"Dear member, Even though we don’t like to see negative reviews on our company, we appreciate any kind of feedback, so we know where we can make improvements on our customer satisfaction, which is our number one priority. Harrison Construction and Remodeling Inc. refuses to make excuses, and in regards to this situation, things got a little hectic here, and we dropped the ball on getting back to you. If you haven’t gotten the work done yet, we’d be happy to still work for you. I know you would be pleased with the high caliber work we provide all of our customers. We encourage other members to take a look at some of our other Angie’s List reviews to get a better indication of the quality company we are. Regards, Brandon Harrison"
"I met with (deleted member name) on 6/4, to look at the house. The back of the home was covered in a wood composite siding that is deteriorating and in need of replacement, but his only concern was the chimney. I did mention to him that we could do just the chimney and a small section of soffit next to it, but the rest of the house is needing some attention also. He did not want to hear anything about that, so we left it at that. This was by no means trying to upsell, it was just stating the obvious. Upon leaving that day, I explained to him that my subs were extremely busy right now and it may take a little while to get a price back to him. I never recieved any phone calls or emails from (deleted member name), to ask about timing or anything else. I always make myself available to clients or perspective clients to answer any questions they may have, and I never turn down a job because it is too small. I will try to accommodate any client who contacts me. I did try to call and discuss this matter with (deleted member name) today and find out if there was anything I could do to have him change his mind on this review, and the response that I received was that he didn't really feel like discussing this matter and he was too busy to talk."
