I called them and was billed 4 hours ($325).
I left a blank check as backer board had to be purchased by the handymen.  I should have bought the board myself.  A 3x5 board costs only ~10 at Home Depot.  The final bill is $434.52.  To install 2 12X12 tiles in shower, this does not sounds a reasonable price.
Not to use them again.
