"Very well. The team at A+ Air Con & Home Services gets an A+ from me for the quick response to my enquiry, came out to my house to quote the project and sent a professional handyman to complete all the tasks. Great team to work with and will definitely use them again in the future!"

"Luke responded immediately to my request and came out the next day to evaluate and make repairs. He arrived before I did and walked me through all the repairs and plans and estimates. (which were positively within the range of what we as a nonprofit could afford) Then he got started with the projects. He was thorough, polite, respectful of our preschool clientele and quick. He troubleshot things that would've otherwise been obstacles and saved us money in the long run! I'm telling all my friends about Luke so you'd better be quick if you need his help! We are keeping "on-call" for the many issues that arise in a 70+ year old building housing a preschool. 1- fixed leaky pipe, will return with snake for clog 2-repaired door and keypad to align more easily to close and lock 3-installed new keypad and door handle 4-evaluated other repairs and set new appt date for completion I am beyond happy that we have found a reasonable Mr. Fix-it for our small school who will make return visits!"

"The two service providers arrived on time. The lead handyman explained what they needed to do and we also went over the estimate together. Then they went to work right away. The crew worked very efficiently and the repaired fascia board and trim looked very good. The price was very reasonable."

"They were professional in all my dealings from the estimator to the guy who repaired the damage. They still have to paint once it dries, but so far I’m pleased with their work. They also gave me a detailed description of their work. Their mid wasn’t the lowest, but I recommended to my security company their bid & they agreed it was more thorough & let us know exactly how they planned to repair the damage."

"I recently hired Allen to fix a leaking faucet and install a water filter, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with his work. He was extremely professional, arrived on time, and completed both tasks quickly and efficiently. His attention to detail and expertise were evident throughout the job. Everything works perfectly now, and I truly appreciate his excellent service. If you’re looking for a reliable and skilled handyman, I highly recommend him. I will definitely hire him again for any future home repairs!"

Caulking Services questions, answered by experts

Most professional appliance removal companies will not expect a tip, but offering one is a good way to show appreciation for a job well done. A tip of 10% to 20% is a good idea if your professionals are working in the rain or snow, if they take extra care not to damage your walls and furniture in the removal process, or if they need to maneuver the appliance through tight spaces or up or down stairs to get it out of your home.

Reviewing your contract for termination terms is best when ending a relationship with a contractor. If there is nothing in the contract or you had a verbal agreement, communicate your decision in writing, citing specific reasons. Afterward, pay for the completed work per your original agreement. Remember you want a record of all correspondence in case you need a lawyer later to settle disputes.

While handypeople do not need to be licensed in many places, you should only hire insured pros for any home improvement work. Your handyperson should have active liability coverage that protects them and you in the case of an error or accident. Furthermore, if they have employees on your property, they should also have workers’ compensation insurance. If you hire an individual or a company that is not insured and they damage your property, have an accident while on the job, or become injured on your property without insurance, you can be held financially liable.

To install or move washer and dryer hookups, you will likely need a combination of professionals. A plumber can handle the water supply lines and drain pipes. If you have a gas dryer, a plumber certified for gas lines or an HVAC specialist will be needed to run the gas line. An electrician is required to install the correct electrical outlets. For simpler jobs, a local handyperson may suffice, while a contractor might be needed for tasks like drywall repair for the new vents.

Using a pro guarantees correct tools and expertise, preventing potential household mishaps.
