Here is my problem with them. The billing starts when the service man left his facility. Even though the billing is 1 hour minimum to show up, he billed for an additional 15 minutes driving time. Additionally, when we checked the invoice, he made a math error, in his favor, by charging an additional 30 minutes. We had to call him back to fix the billing error. Second problem was he replace the sink basket strain. The sink had a brushed nickel strainer and he replaced it with a cheap chrome strainer. The original strainer was less than 1 year old and in all my years I have not seen one spring a leak. I will never know because he took my strainer with him. Third problem they charge an additional rental fee for using the machine of $30. Never saw a change like this before. When my wife questioned the service man about their billing practice he said Ledbetter plumbing is good but we are expensive. I called the owner to register a complaint twice, I missed his first return call and have not heard from him again. My wife does not feel comfortable using this type of service provider and we will not call them again. I would suggest you check your invoice very carefully if you decide to use them. . This describes Carl Blum. Three years ago we decided to repaint our house. The house was built in 2006 and the paint was coming off in 2011. I began researching paint and learned that the builders use PPG paint that is essentially $15 a gallon. If one researches top quality paint (Sherwin Williams Durations), he will immediately notice that the good paint is $55 a gallon. Not only that, most builders don't prime and simply spray the cheap paint on. I noticed my neighbors having their house painted and the company was only using rollers and brushes! When it was time for our house to be painted, I found out the name of the company that did such a good job was Blum Painting and Wall Covering. I contacted Carl and set up an appointment with him to look at the house. After the bid was placed, him and his crew started on the project approximately a week later. Now, one needs to understand that priming, double coating, using the best paint, and sanding the deck by hand is going to be more expensive than simply having someone spray the house. With that said, the price will be higher than some of the other contractors around town, but the paint will continue to look beautiful for many many years. The crew started by power washing the house and the gutters. They used a phosphate based cleaner on the gutters so that the paint would adhere properly. Carl also replaced some would around my fire place that had not been primed and painted properly by the builder. Carl called me and said that he was going to use cedar so that it would hold up better outside. When they got to the deck, he flipped some boards around and made slight repairs before hand sanding (yes hand sanding) the surface! The house and deck came out looking amazing. Three years later the house still looks like it was just painted!. The deck has taken some heat; however, in the past I have had to restain every year. Carl's work and the solid stain have lasted three years. A few weeks ago Carl contacted me out of the blue. I had recommended his company to a coworker (who had Carl paint her house and that of her parents). She was blown away by the quality of the job. Carl called me to thank me for my recommendation. He also said he wanted to know if any parts of the housed needed to be touched up. I can honestly say that Blum Painting and Wall Covering is the best contracting company that I have ever dealt with. The work is top notch and the people are amazing. If you want a personal recommendation, please have Carl contact me and I will be more than happy to explain the great work in person. Vines had climbed into the trees and bushes and small trees made it impossible to get through the woods. There were also several dead trees that needed to come down. S and A Tree Service came right out and gave me a bid on clearing out the brush, removing the vines and taking down the dead trees. They were friendly and seemed capable of handling the job, said he had the equipment and manpower. The owner of S and A walked into the woods and over the property so that he could see what he would be driving his tractor into and how dense the undergrowth actually was. He said that they would be able to remove most of the undergrowth and most of the vines that had climbed into the trees, but it would require removing a lot of the smaller trees that were growing in the brush. He also agreed to take down the dead trees and leave them on the ground, because it would be very expensive to remove them from the woods. They showed up early the next morning and got right to work. There were about four men, one brush hog tractor and a large truck and trailer. They worked steadily and made a lot of progress for about half the day. In the early afternoon, the tractor began smoking and over heating. He explained to me that the large tractor he had expected to use was busy and he had to settle for a smaller, less effective tractor to do the job. It became so hot that he finally had to give up using the tractor all together. He said that if he continued to use it, the motor would burn up and he would be responsible for repairing it. So he gave up brush hogging, leaving the perimeters of the acres fairly dense with undergrowth. The workers responsible for clearing out the debris did a good job. There was a lot to remove and they worked hard to get what they could. Mid-afternoon, they did seem to get anxious to leave and I had to remind them about the trees that were supposed to be taken down. They got most of them, but when I pointed out one in particular that I was concerned about, he told me that I should let the electric company get that one, it was too close to the road. I was very displeased about that. It was a big job and I expected to pay for the hard work. I felt that the bid was fair. However, when he was not able to get right equipment for the job, it made it impossible to do the job that he promised. And the tree thing still bothers me.

I will just start with this folks they didn't even know that they had a 10% off coupon posted here on Angie's List. Day 1 they were 1 hour late getting to the home for measurements and quotes. They gave us the run around with pricing and made us feel like we got a good deal with all of the hidden costs on the initial paperwork. They said they would call for final measurements within a week but no one called, we had to call them after a week. They said they would call to confirm dates of installation but they were 2 weeks past what they originally said and we had to call them to even find that out at last minute. When they came to do the job they worked half a day and came back the next day to work another half a day. Looking over the install a screen was ripped, a notch chipped out of a frame of a window, the latch on the front door had large scrapes on it, the other door had a quarter size dent that they partially putty to cover up before installation and outer exposed brick was broken off in chunks during installation. They took pictures telling us they would be back to make corrections but did not give us any type of time frame. We paid in full in the hopes that someone would call and come back to fix this. But after a week of waiting, we called. We were told that the person to speak with was on lunch and they would have them call us back when they returned but no one called. Two days later we called back for answers and we were told that Oh yes things had been corrected at All Seasons but the other person for scheduling to speak with was at lunch, so we agreed to call back in two hours for information on when they would be out. They called us back before then and set a date for corrections for that Friday. The day of corrections on that Friday we waited around till 3:00 in the afternoon but no one showed up. So we called to see why they didn't show up and they said oh sorry we were going to call and let you know we won't make it there till Monday. So Monday came and they called that morning and said oh sorry again we won't make it till Tuesday. So Tuesday came and they were there less than an hour and they fixed the ripped screen and fixed the chip on the window frame. They said sorry but there is nothing we can do about quarter sized dent in the door and scrapes on the latch so that was it,they drove away. So now I guess we will need to buy some putty and paint and fix this ourselves. If we had it to do over, then we would of course hire a professional and not these guys! Brush Chipping reviews from real Angi homeowners in Avinger, TX
We liked all three fence contractors that Home Advisor recommended but Southern Fence Company was able to start right away. They also happened to give us the lowest bid which was nice. They trimmed the brush along the fence line and hauled away the branches. I would recommend them to anyone.
The service man showed up on time and got the drain opened. My wife asked the service man to look at the slow running water at the faucet. The service person found some trash in the line and fixed it. Then he said we had a leak and he replaced the basket strainer in the sink. All in all the...

Landscaping architects are required to be licensed in all 50 states, whereas traditional landscaping contractors are not typically required to hold a certification. You’ll likely be working with a landscaping contractor for most residential projects. If you are redesigning your whole yard or adding in hardscape features, you will work with a landscaping architect at some point during the project. Be sure to check our state licensing tool to review the local landscaper guidelines.
