He built a simple deck with stairs for our above ground pool so we could easily get in and out and have enough room for a table and chairs. We love it.

Scott did an excellent job for me. We had probably 6-8 different projects spread over 12 months. He always answered or gor back with me in a timely manner. If I changed course in the middle of the project he was very accommodating. His prices were very reasonable. I would use him again . Thanks Ricky Jones

Handyman Service
?????????? I couldn?t be happier with the service! The handyman was punctual, professional, and incredibly skilled. He tackled every task on my list?from fixing a leaky faucet to patching drywall?with precision and care. He was friendly, explained everything clearly, and left the area spotless. It?s rare to find someone this reliable and detail-oriented. Highly recommend for any home repairs or improvements!

Scott started out great, but we quickly realized he was out of his depth. He requested full payment when the job was finished and being nice we obliged. Bad mistake on our side. He has since ghosted my wife and myself including blocking us from his business phone number. The sad part is I had another project for him that I will gladly go elsewhere now. Hiring Scott has now resulted in a several thousand dollar loss for us. Unfortunately I suggest anyone to avoid him at all costs.

He ask for 65% deposit up front. I was reluctant at first but he showed up with his fifteen-year-old son so I thought it would be safe. Paid to 65%. I told him I needed the fence done by Friday. He got the fence up by Friday Night February 5th. He called me to let me know because I was at work. When I came home that night, I noticed that portions of the fence was too high. I could fit my boot underneath the fence. I also noticed that he shortened my fence without my permission and charge me for 14 poles installed and he only installed 10 poles. I brought this to his attention Saturday morning February 6th. He was reluctant to address the situation about the polls saying that he didn't anticipate the work that he did. He reassured me that he was going to come by Saturday February 6th to cut in the gate. No show. Sunday February 7th. No show. Monday February 8th no show. This whole time he hasn't reached out to me to let me know what was going on. I finally hear from him Monday afternoon at about 5 p.m. he text me and apologized for his absence and said that he was going to finish the job on Tuesday February 9th. No show. And no call. Again! I have a fence with no Gates. A fence that was shortened without my permission. Ruts all over my yard that was caused by his tractor. Old fencing debris that what's left in my backyard that he supposed to haul off. This is why you should never pay 65% deposit. These are the facts thank you

It was truly a success. The job was to trim the stone on my front steps. Replace mortar that was missing and resealed the entire front porch including the steps. I’m very satisfied and plan to hire them again in the future

From the moment Scott interacted with us, I knew we had found a landscaper with integrity and great customer service. His amazing team transformed our yard in one day. The work was meticulous and came in exactly on budget. I honestly never knew that landscaping could be so easy! Scott had great ideas from the selection of ground rock/stone to tree choices. He took accountability for our satisfaction from start to finish and I can't recommend Southers Landscaping enough!

Really disappointed with how our backyard landscaping turned out. My husband and I hired Scott and his team with Southers Landscaping to put a limestone border and some bushes along the fence line in our backyard. We really liked it at first, but over the past 2 months our neighbors grass is growing under the fence and our own grass is growing up through the limestone rocks, and it now looks tacky. Something definitely wasn’t done right and it really sucks because we paid over $4k to have this done so you expect it to be done well. They were also supposed to plant a new tree in our front yard, saying it was on the way from being ordered. I followed up with Scott via phone and text for a couple weeks and he never got back to me, just ghosted.

We contacted Scott looking for a professional that could help us make the best decisions for your backyard project. We basically had four projects in mind. One was to lay sod in the areas that needed grass. Two were install something around our pool that would look nice and stay clean, considering we have 4 kids and a dog. Three removed a whole patch of bamboo roots bordering the tennis court on our property, and in its place, prepare a garden with irrigation system. Four were trimming the trees around the tennis courts. It was a big project and we were surprised when he said they would finish it, in two days. Two days was not enough time. The project was done in a rushed, sloppy fashion. The grass was our biggest concern because we have a heavily shaded area. We told him we had previously been unsuccessful with the sod. We told Scott that the ground needed to be tilled and some good dirt brought in so the sod could have the best possibility of making it. Against our request, the ground was not tilled. They brought in a truckload of dirt which only covered 2/3 of the area. We are only hoping for the best. Scott recommended decomposed granite around the pool but did not install it inappropriately. We requested weed fabric, that was ignored. Scott stated the decomposed granite would be compacted after installation, which was not done either. According to our research, both fabric and compressing are necessary. Because it was not compressed, it turns into a muddy mess when it gets wet. There are grass and weeds already coming through just a few days later. Also, they did not install the decomposed granite in the area we outlined which is now causing water drainage issues we will need to address. In any project this size, issues usually arise along the way and when removing the bamboo roots we realized we needed to dig out a larger area than originally discussed. Scott added $1,000 to our invoice without first being clear on what it would cost and because they were rushing they did not even follow the line that we marked, which is the line for the future fence. Now we have to come in and dig it out by hand. They installed a drip irrigation system that is a total joke and left my whole sprinkler system down (adding $800 to out an invoice for this without prior consent). They removed about 5 truckloads of dirt and roots and only brought back one load of cheap dirt, not appropriate for gardens. What I was left with, was a hole with drip irrigation lines so far apart it would take forever to soak the ground. As far as the tree trimming, they came in and cut down one small tree that was leaning over the court. When we asked about that, Scott said he did not charge us for the trimming (implying that they would not trim any further). We never asked Scott to trim for free, (his son as a witness) we wanted it done and if he could not or would not the should have stated it from the beginning. After rushing to finish the job on the second day, working till about 8 pm. They left a huge mess in our yard and driveway. The sod was not soaked like is typically done the day sod is installed. They cracked the cement in our driveway, driving a whole big piece in cement into the mud. What it will cost to complete the job we hired Scott to do and repair the driveway will exceed what he charged us in the first place. We are very frustrated and upset. We do not feel like Scott took the time to do things right creating chaos for us in the end
