"They were nice guys.  They were hired by the contractor remodeling our bathroom.  I have a complaint against them - they knocked a couple of holes through the bathroom, into the living room.  We had to do the repair ourselves.  The plumbing was fine, but I didn't appreciate the holes in the wall.  I actually complained to the contractor and I don't know if he said anything about it.  I used my plumber for all the other plumbing work in my house.  Once the contractor was through with his little piece, then I got my own plumbing in."

"I called them after Mr. Roooter came as part of an American Home Shield service request. They tried to rip me off and I knew it. They wanted $900 to install a clear out in my house before they’d even begin to try to snake my drain. The Plumber came within an hour of me calling, they told me exactly what it would cost to begin snaking with a small machine, $189. We tried that for an hour, they asked if I wanted to move onto the bigger machine for another $100. We tried that for another hour. The next step was the $289 two-man giant machine. They had to come back the next day. They came at exactly the time I requested, and within an hour it was cleared. They were polite, friendly, thorough, and they didn’t try to rip me off. I highly recommend them!!"

"We had damage to our plumbing system due to the recent freeze in Texas and D.P. Plumbing was able to resolve our issues in a timely and efficient manner. Mr. David provided us with a very reasonable estimate and performed very high quality work. He is a highly trained professional, very knowledgeable and courteous. He was also very respectful of social distancing and wore a mask the entire time due to the current social mandates. D.P. Plumbing was recommended to us by a friend and we are very pleased with their service. We will definitely be recommending them to all of our friends, family and neighbors!"

"I found Lifeline Plumbing through Angies list and I am very pleased with the result. My situation was not an emergency and I anticipated that I would be waiting a few days, I was surprised when I was scheduled for next day service.
The person performing the service was prompt, clean cut, courteous and professional. The evaluation/estimate took just a few minutes. The maintenance was completed in less time than it took to set up. The technician also explained the most probably cause
of the mysterious appearing of water in the sink. After hearing the theory, I discreetly put away my talisman and made a note to buy bottle of bleach.
I was provided with a contact info refrigerator magnet and instructed to I call them immediately if the problem recurred.

"Everything went smoothly and the water heater was installed to code. The plumber even replaced and sealed the leaking flashing on the roof. Actually had the least expensive estimate of all three plumbers."

"Went great. After purchasing a mammoth disposal at a big box store I realized during installation that it would not fit due to the plumbing placement and odd sink size. Called and they had someone over that day to look at it and give me a quote for relocating the plumbing and offered to install the unit in the process for a small labor charge. Installation is VERY clean. Would definitely use again. I have used in the past for some rental units and they are always able to accommodate.

"I had already purchased this before hand and when I spoke with him on the phone to arrange the appointment I asked if I purchased the same components for the two other toilet tanks that we hand on the home whether they would be able to install those and if they thought that it would be within their time limits and they said, yes they thought they would. The best part of it was the value of the deal, we got a lot of work done and it was done quite well for the price. The job was well done. There wasn't quite as much attention to detail as we might have liked, but it wasn't bad. When they connected the release valve that goers from the dish washer to above the sink there is a thing that helps the dish washer drain and that's also connected to the waste disposal, it didn't get tightened up quite as securely as it was prior to that. So it was kind of loose, and I had to end up getting under the sink and tightening that fully myself."

Sink Installation FAQs, answered by experts

Refinishing a bathtub is a project you can do at the same time as refinishing a porcelain sink. If your tub is the same age as your sink, consider getting a quote. Most homeowners spend about $480 on the cost of refinishing a bathtub, but it ranges between $335 and $630, depending on the size, style, and material of the tub.

Your garbage disposal is not draining because it might have a clog due to food waste, a foreign object, grease, oil, fat, or it may have a broken motor. When water doesn't flush out of the disposal, that's a key sign that your disposal has a clog or needs repair.

When installing an undermount kitchen sink in a granite countertop, use 100% silicone to secure the basin. If you’re worried your sink is too heavy, speak with a countertop professional about how to adhere the sink to the countertop without worrying about issues down the road. Sagging undermount sinks can be a common plumbing problem if they’re not properly adhered, so always make sure you’re using a high-quality material.

Because it’s an engineered stone, quartz composite is much denser than other natural stone alternatives. For instance, if you drop a heavy object in a natural stone sink, there’s a chance the sink could crack, chip, or dent. Quartz’s density means quartz sinks are more resistant to scratches or staining. However, darker quartz sinks are more likely to show scratches or scuffs, and quartz sinks can stain over time.

The biggest sign that your flange leaks is if you notice water at the base of the toilet. The cause is likely due to a poor flange installation, so you might have issues with loose bolts, an uneven flange, or a cracked plastic flange. Add a deteriorating wax seal to this, and you have a recipe for disaster. The best solution is to shut off the water valve, replace the toilet flange, and seal it with a new wax ring.
