"Robert was very friendly and professional. He did not attempt to sell me anything, rather he spent his visit informing me of how my issue could be resolved without him having to actually intervene professionally. I appreciate the free consultation very much, and will absolutely consider Dri-Fix if I ever end up needing their services in the future (but god I hope I don’t!)."

"Called Lifeline to find a leak in wall behind the fridge. Discovered it was an improperly capped feedline to the icemaker outlet for fridge. They replaced the cap and stopped the leak. We discovered the the house had in the floor main water feed lines, and the plumber had to knock out holes in several places before he found the line leading to the icemaker line. But after all that, he chose to not cut the line and cap it there.
So he made a mess trying to find the leak and a solution, did fix it, but cost me another couple hundred to get a handy man in to fix the drywall holes.
But really bothered me was he kept pitching to me to re-plumb the entire house as the lines were old and being in the concrete slab was going to continue to be a problem, even after I politely told him it was not a solution I was interested in right now. Didn't take no for an answer.

"Everything went smoothly and the water heater was installed to code. The plumber even replaced and sealed the leaking flashing on the roof. Actually had the least expensive estimate of all three plumbers."

"Great!  Plumb Right is my go-to plumber for my personal and rental properties. On this job, previously two different plumbers informed me they would need to cut out my drywall and re-pipe the shower for much much more.  The plumbers from Plumb Right took a look and in less than 20 minutes had the old parts removed and were updating the faucet.  They even used new parts I had on hand from a rebuild kit to save me money.  This is the type of service that I have come to expect from them.  Previously they re-routed my water under the kitchen sink to accommodate a new disposal, and I was amazed at the quality of work.  FAIRLY priced.  Not the cheapest, by no means the most expensive, and always VERY professional.

"I had an leak in my garage which I thought was my washing machine, but it turned out to be my galvanized steel plumbing leaking. Surprise! Considering it had rusted through in several locations, Carlos advised me to replace all of the plumbing, but did give me several options to choose from if that wasn't in the budget. I work in the construction industry, so I'm lucky to have some people who I trust for advice. After seeking the opinion of a trusted construction partner, I decided that the investment in new Pex plumbing would be worthwhile and that they were asking a fair price. While they were doing the replacement, I decided to get some other work done at the same time because they offered it at a good deal. Smart Choice also gave me a financing option that defers interest payment for 2 years- nice!
The workers that performed the installation were very friendly and even played with my puppy dog and let him out while I was gone- I really appreciated that gesture. When something didn't go to my expectation, they made it right- something I think is a true litmus test for a company's integrity. They also warranted the new plumbing system for 10 years, which I find to be very important because it makes me feel like they stand behind their product. Every interaction with them has been incredibly professional and they go above and beyond. I always feel like they have genuine concern that I am happy with their work, and I will definitely use them again for all my plumbing needs.

"Alex & Mike's team did an awesome job in just under 48 hours and we have a large one story ranch with a 12/1 pitch. Took care of our landscaping and made sure to keep the trash with nails to a minimum at all times. Everyone has gone the extra mile to make sure that we understood about the GAF products and that they are installing the best quality roof. At the end of the day, our roof was better than expected and we would hire them again without any hesitation."

Sink Installation questions, answered by experts

A good option for opening up and cleaning a sink drain is to use a ¼ cup of baking soda and 1 cup of white vinegar, along with a rubber stopper to cover the drain while those materials work their magic. After about 15 minutes, you can flush the drain with hot water. In many cases, these materials can scrub out minor clogs and get the drain working properly again. If the issue persists, call in a plumber near you to get the problem permanently fixed.

If your kitchen is flooding, first turn off the water supply and electricity before entering the room. Next, focus on immediate flood control by cleaning up any standing water with a sump pump or wet-dry vacuum to prevent long-term water damage to your home. Open your windows and run any dehumidifiers you have handy. Finally, call a professional plumber to help find the source of the flood and repair it.

Touchless faucets are reliable. However, proper maintenance is necessary to keep them running flawlessly. Keep the nozzle area and sensor clean to promote the best functionality. Additionally, consider where the touchless faucet you choose gets its power. Battery-operated models will need regular battery replacements to ensure reliability, and the touchless function won't work in a hardwired version during a power outage.

Hairline cracks—tiny cracks in the surface—in porcelain sinks can happen due to age, chemical damage from cleaning products, dropping heavy objects on the sink, thermal shock from drastic temperature changes, stress during repairs, and manufacturing errors. Hairline cracks often start very small and grow longer and wider over time. While they may appear problematic, hairline cracks don’t indicate structural problems and may not impact the performance of sinks. However, they can eventually cause water leaks and mold growth if left to grow.

Vanities may come with a countertop and sink but won’t include faucets. You’ll need to purchase your faucets separately from a home improvement or hardware store. When shopping for a fixture, you’ll have plenty of bathroom faucet types to choose from. Think about your vanity and bathroom aesthetics and what you need when deciding. Single-handle and centerset faucets work well in any space, while widespread, bridge, and wall-mount fixtures work in modern bathrooms.
