"James came for the appointment on time! He was extremely courteous and very professional. He and Johnny drained, hauled off old heater, and installed new heater in about three hours. Afterwards they cleaned up and left the area super clean. I am so grateful for seeing the deal on Angie's List and finding Click's for my future plumbing work. The deal was for $749 for new heater, haul off, and replace with new heater. I paid $150 more for heater upgrade and second floor attic installation. What a great deal! I am so pleased with the work!"

"Great every time. In fact, I'm trying to get ahold of him for leaking ceiling pipes. It's Sunday (of course), and I have not been able to reach him yet. He has always responded quickly in the past. Sorry I have been remiss in giving a review in the past--good intentions gone awry."

"This might be long but I hope people read it. David replied to my estimate request so fast and messaged with me about our winter storm damage, he agreed to come out the following day. He was so nice and calm and he beat me to my own house for our appointment. Gave me a quick reasonable quote. We had dealt with 3 plumbers who were rude and price gouging and wasting our time for FOUR WEEKS, and he had our entire house re-piped 3 days later with just him and his Dad coming back daily. We will recommend him to everyone forever!!!"

"Robert was very friendly and professional. He did not attempt to sell me anything, rather he spent his visit informing me of how my issue could be resolved without him having to actually intervene professionally. I appreciate the free consultation very much, and will absolutely consider Dri-Fix if I ever end up needing their services in the future (but god I hope I don’t!)."

"David and his crew did an amazing job. Everything was done efficiently, and very little mess. They cleaned and picked up every day. The drywall and finish is perfect. I would highly recommend!"

"Great!  Plumb Right is my go-to plumber for my personal and rental properties. On this job, previously two different plumbers informed me they would need to cut out my drywall and re-pipe the shower for much much more.  The plumbers from Plumb Right took a look and in less than 20 minutes had the old parts removed and were updating the faucet.  They even used new parts I had on hand from a rebuild kit to save me money.  This is the type of service that I have come to expect from them.  Previously they re-routed my water under the kitchen sink to accommodate a new disposal, and I was amazed at the quality of work.  FAIRLY priced.  Not the cheapest, by no means the most expensive, and always VERY professional.

Sink Installation questions, answered by experts

Today’s standard sink stopper size is 1.5 inches. However, you can still find different sizes if your house uses an older sink stopper. Other sizes you can find in most hardware stores include one inch, 1-1/4 inch, 1-3/8 inch, 1-5/8 inch, 1-7/8 inch, 2 inch, 2-1/4 inch, 2-3/8 inch, and 2.5 inch.

Yes, a toilet, sink, and shower can share the same vent. This is a common plumbing practice that can simplify installation and save space. When sharing a vent, it's important that the toilet is located downstream from all other fixtures. You will also need to ensure the vent pipe is large enough to handle the demands of all connected fixtures without compromising its effectiveness. Because requirements can vary, you should always check your local building and plumbing codes. Consulting a qualified plumber is recommended to ensure the vent is properly sized, installed, and adheres to all local regulations.

Yes, plumber's putty ensures a solid bond between the drain assembly and sink. Silicone is a good alternative if you prefer not to use plumber's putty. However, plumber's putty typically isn't visible from the outside of the drain, as you can wipe away any excess when done.

No, you don’t need to use plumber’s putty to install a sink drain. Other options are available, such as silicone putty or silicone caulk. Plumber’s putty is the traditional method and it’s easier to work with and easier to remove. It doesn’t need to dry before using. Silicone putty should dry before you use the drain.

Yes, you can fit a vanity unit to an existing sink, especially if you plan to custom-build the vanity. With a prefabricated vanity, you’ll likely need to make a few adjustments. It depends on the type of sink, the size of the sink, and the existing plumbing. If you plan to retrofit a sink into a prefabricated vanity, make sure you take precise measurements and that your sink is compatible with the vanity you select. Prefabricated units have a precut sink hole, so you’ll need the size to match your sink.
