"I initially selected West Shore Home to do my window replacement principally because their salesman so much less pushy than the others that I requested estimates from. I am allergic to a hard sell! But their excellent service continued throughout the project. I needed a total of more than 20 windows replaced in a 70-year old home. Quite a job! They scheduled the installation well in advance so that I could plan my schedule. They came exactly on time on the appointed day. Everyone on the crew was cheerful, courteous, and knowledgeable. When it turned out that some of the materials sent from the factory had minor defects, they not only offered to replace all the defective panes but even showed me a couple of defects that I had not noticed. And they returned not once but twice to be sure that everything was perfect before they called the job complete."

I told them it was ok to reschedule 1 more week when I & my husband off work. 5 days later they called me they had to reschedule again which we couldn?t do it another 2 weeks because our work schedules were already out. It?s hard to match my and my husband?s schedules to be off work so we can start sunroom projects. I told them to call me if they can come to our schedule. I?m glad we didn?t hire them. "If you want a company that only does half the job they were hired to do, then by all means hire this one. We hired them to repair our pool stairs and they only did two of the three. When the third stair cracked they came out and repaired it and then sent out a bill for another $500. For $2000.00 we could have replaced the steps. It all is chipping away and to beat all of this, the guy stepped on our liner and teared it off the steps. Now we are replacing a 1 year old liner and the company's response was it's our word against theirs. Do yourself a favor a stay away from this company. They maybe the only ones around Knoxville, but it isn't worth your money"

You’ll want to finish butcher block countertops with a food-safe sealant. Mineral oil and tung oil are great options for a velvety, matte finish. They’re water resistant, but you’ll need to reapply them regularly.
