"Live up to their name. Honest. They could have sold me a complete new system but expertly repaired my old one. Plus they installed a dual head Minny split. Very happy with their service and will use them again"

"My mom lives in Tennessee and I live in Florida. The last day I was there her AC started not cooling. So I checked Angie’s. Hayden is the one I chose because when he called he gave me his first name and was very polite over the phone. My mom’s caregiver said he was a nice young man. He got the job done and I couldn’t tell you if the price was good or not but I’m satisfied. I would call him again without hesitation."

"I have several rental properties in the area. This company has done everything from installs to repairs for me. Several mini Split units also. They have replaced the ducts in my personal home. And they service all of my properties. Very dependable and does not oversell. Absolutely my go to for anything Hvac related."

"I’ve had Jeff Davis at my home to check out the system so when I called Aire Care they do not work with Liberty Home Guard warranty system. So, I proceeded to work through LHG and was told it would be about ten days to give a quote. Well the gas furnace was declared DOA on my furnace of 27 years. I knew it shouldn’t take more than a half hour to quote my furnace so that’s when I realized the LHG company was a decoy to say we really don’t want to do this so we’ll drag our feet on this one. I took a survey on the internet and it pointed me to Aire Care (Jeff Davis company). I inquired with them and their salesman came over and gave me a quote. That’s when I decided to dump LHG and sign with Aire Care Knoxville. The next day LHG came through with slightly better quote but that was because they knew they were being dumped. All in all I’ve had a calmness about going with Aire Care as everyone is nice and very professional. So thanks Aire Care of Knoxville to allow warmth to come back to us"

hello! we are a young 23 year old couple and we have recently started our own house cleaning business. We have a lot of experience since my girlfriends mom has been cleaning houses for the past 15 years and she has helped her since she was younger. I have also been helping them for the past 2-3 years. We are hoping to get some more clients and be successful! We are also willing to do different tasks, just ask!

They can, but it’s not as common. Window AC units are much smaller than whole-house systems and less likely to develop refrigerant leaks or similar issues. As a result, you will rarely need to add a new refrigerant, limiting overcharging problems. However, it’s still important to leave refrigerant management in the hands of professionals when window units need work.

Window ACs use 500 to 1,400 watts per hour of electricity, while mini-splits use 500 to 700 watts per hour. However, if you need to cool multiple zones in your house, your mini-split can use as much as 2,000 watts per hour. How often you run your system will impact how much electricity you use (and how much you pay per month).

For washable or electrostatic air conditioner filters, you can soak and rinse them with water. If you rinse the filter with water, make sure to use a faucet, shower head, or garden hose with a gentle water pressure setting, as strong water pressure could damage the filter.

But for disposable filters, water could ruin the filter, even allowing mold to grow in the filter. Instead, these filters should be replaced.

You should know the main components of an air conditioner: the condenser coils, evaporator coils, drip pan, AC filter, ducts, and refrigerant. Each part plays a key role in the performance and safety of your AC system. When tracking the source of AC issues or odors, it helps to know where to look. Your outdoor unit houses your condenser coils, fan, and compressor. Your indoor unit houses your evaporator coils, drain lines, and filter, and it connects to your ductwork.

Yes, but they don’t feel the same as an AC-cooled room. You’ll feel cool, moist air, opposite from an HVAC system that dries the air as it cools. Ventless units also have less tonnage than alternatives like ductless and central air, which means they aren’t as capable of quickly cooling large spaces or circulating cold air.
