"I had an unfortunate situation that left my home basically without a front door. As a single mother with two kids, I was a nervous wreck, especially at night with my home not being safe/secure. I had contacted several people but they were booked up for several days. I spoke with Mr. Mitchell and he too was booked out for 2-3 days. We ended our phone call and I was honestly ready to break down bc I was overwhelmed, exhausted, and it seemed like help was nowhere near. But after I laid my phone down, Mr. Mitchell immediately called back. He said he didn’t feel right leaving me and the boys without a door and even though it was late in the day (6-7pm), he wanted to come straight over and replace the door. I couldn’t believe it! He went and picked up the door, doorknobs/locks, hardware, etc and brought lights bc it was already getting dark. He did an amazing job, and I am so grateful for his help. You really came through for me Mr. Mitchell, thank you so very much! God bless you sir!"

"We used Sam to remove and install all new fixtures in one bathroom. Install faucets in two others. He also did electrical work and repaired a door for us. He is amazing! Wealth of knowledge in all repairs. Showed up on time, was quick and efficient with a dose of good conversation too! We live on Beech Mountain. "Let me apologize now because this will be a lengthy review. We purchased a cabin in Cosby, TN (we live in Ohio) that was a total gut that had been started by the previous owner. We located Frank (JR - J and LRenovations) through Home Advisor. We were skeptical about hiring anyone we were not able to be around to oversee because we live out of the state. We met up with Frank (JR)and his lovely wife Lucille initially to discuss a leak in the roof. He brought his work truck and fixed the leak in the roof and refused to let us pay him. We knew then we had the right person for the job. We discussed our vision and everything we wanted and left things in his capable hands. I cannot begin to tell you the scope of work that was needed for this renovation. He completed everything we asked for from, tongue and groove walls and ceiling, electrical, laying tile and LVP flooring, plumbing, door, and cabinet installation, spraying the walls with poly, building steps, tearing out old fireplaces, spreading gravel and so much more! There are too many things to list! He even made it a point to be there when we had furniture delivered and counters installed so we did not have to make the trip down! Now that is someone who goes above and beyond to take care of their customers. He worked seven days a week and even on holidays (no we did not ask him to do this). His work ethic and craftsmanship are exceptional! This was a huge job for one person. We could not be happier with the end product. He went above and beyond our expectations, is a man of his word and truly cares about your property, his quality of work, and his customers. I cannot say enough great things about him and I encourage you to reach out to him for all of your home improvement needs. Not only do we have someone we can trust we will share a friendship for years to come. We cannot thank him enough!"

"Pro: The roofing looks alright from street level. Nicer that the previous old style 3 tab shingle. The subcontractors came a day ahead of schedule. Con: After about a month they have yet to clean up. Promise at beginning was to clean up all trash and nails with magnet. My daughters had to clean up shingles from the neighbor s yard. Still have nails in the back yard and shingle in front."
