"I have used Settlemir Construction numerous times. I have been in real estate management since 1987. I have had Johnny and his crew work on my personal home and on rental cabins that I own. They have installed new metal roofs, new interior framing, sheet rock, T&G installation, new wood trim, new decks, etc. Johnny does what he says he will do, does it with quality workmanship, his rates are very reasonable, and he is honest to the core. Sales person (owner) was very knowledgeable and gave detailed steps as to what needed to be done to resolve problem. Work crew were professional and worked in a timely manner. They kept me informed as to how the job was progressing. They clearly answered any questions I had about their work processes. When they were done clean-up was so good you could not even tell they had been there.

"Old home / painting...it took three attempts to get the work done properly. I was displeased with the process but my account rep was attentive, appropriately apologetic, and expressed certainty that they would do anything necessary to provide an appropriate level of service. Project time was extended but the final product was solid. It shouldn't have taken three attempts, but Hood's went so far as to bring in a different sub-contractor as to provide solid work. I was pleased with the final product. New home: no problems with any of this work. Scheduling was difficult. I suspect that (as is typical with contractors) Hood's was overbooked / overextended. That said, the work seems to be solid. All in all, I appreciate the end: good work. I'm not sure that they'd be my first call the next time that I need work but I would vouch that they made sure I was (eventually) happy with the business."
