"I cannot speak highly enough of David and his team. When I got a moderately high radon reading on the home I was selling, I had to take care of it quickly so that my closing could go through. David worked me into his schedule and came to my home the day I called. He was delightful, did a thorough inspection, and gave me an estimate. I subsequently got an estimate from another vender, and it was $1,000 more! Not only that, but David had figured out a way to perform the remediation without installing unsightly pipes either on the inside or outside of the house. This involved him working in a very shallow attic space to run the pipes up through the heating ducts, but he was happy to go the extra mile. On the day of the work, David and his wonderful assistant Ryan arrived on time, and spent the better part of a day installing the system. They were convivial and professional without being the least bit instrusive  - I enjoyed the experience! After the installation, David explained it to me in detail, and left a radon kit so that my buyers could check the new levels. Not suprisingly, my buyers are more than happy with the results. "Heater stopped working approximately a week before service visit. As I was out of town, wife and kids had to keep warm in evening hours. After pondering who to contact I chose to join Angie's List and found many great recommendations for R&M. Reconginizing their logo from their website I realized this was the one to call. When setting up my appointment on Monday March 29th I explained that while their website had many great promotions I didn't know what the problem was so I couldn't take advantage; however, I did need someone to come out. Honestly I was expecting a couple of days, but, I was offered a same day appointment. Unfortunately I couldn't take due to work conflict; however, they offered me an appointment for the next day. Right on time the service rep showed up. Not knowing the problem I was bracing for an expensive fix. However, the rep first identified the need to replace the transformer before determining any other problems. Once replaced he quickly identified the exposed air conditioner wires. The rep was very thorough, professional and polite and after answering some of my quesitions proposed a special they were having on equipment "tune-up" and also a $25.00 off coupon I could quickly download while he finished. Overall, while I added a "tune-up" service for a date to be scheduled I ended up with enough parts and labor discounts that it cost me the same. The service was great and truly came from recommendations from other Angie's List members."

My brakes started smelling very hot when I drove the truck.  Meineke determined that the caliper of one brake had locked.  They  replaced all damaged parts and fixed the brakes in about 4 - 41/2 hours.  Staff was very friendly and pleasant, showed me the damage before they worked on it, explained everything, answered my questions, and fixed the brakes.  The price was much higher than I had hoped, but the problem involved much more than I thought.  I am very satisfied with the work and will use Meineke again.

"Work went very well. Technician was here for a long time and did a very thorough job of cleaning and sanitizing. I got more effort and attention than I expected for the cost. The price below reflects the cost I paid for the Angie's list deal that I purchased (I believe it was $110 paid to Angie's list) and $175 that I paid to the company directly for the second floor unit and system. The total of $285 covered two units and trunk lines along with 28 vents."

"Jim did a great job. He quickly assessed the problem and then took our unit with him to work on it more. When he got back to us, the fix would have cost more than it was worth. He gave us options for a new or refurbished PC. We felt the refurbished was a good deal and chose that. He came back and set that up and we are very happy with it. He then took a look at my laptop and again took it along. He tuned it up and installed a speed upgrade we wanted. Of course, we paid extra for the new unit and upgrades, but we thought the price was very fair. Jim seemed very knowledgeable and responsive. We will definitely call him again if we need any computer services."
