"I was extremely disappointed with this moving company. While their rate of $145 per hour seemed reasonable, the crew they sent was simply not capable of completing the job efficiently. Despite having four workers, one was over 60 years old with bad knees, and they relied only on dollies instead of proper moving equipment like lifting straps for heavy items. Because of this, the move took an exhausting eight hours when it should have been done in five. Not only did they take far too long, but they also damaged several of my belongings, including two wardrobe racks and my dining room table. To make matters worse, they improperly connected my washer, mixing up the hot and cold water lines, and failed to attach the lint vent on my dryer. When I previously moved from Georgia to Tennessee, I hired movers who handled the same size job much more efficiently with the same number of workers. I feel like I was overcharged due to their limitations, which were absolutely not my responsibility. While I appreciate that they got me relocated, the overall experience was frustrating and disappointing. I will never use this company again and certainly wouldn’t recommend their services to anyone."

"I submitted a request to Angie s List as I was getting ready to sell our house. I was looking for a pool company to make some repairs to our pool. When I spoke to the representative from Angie s List, it was mentioned that we were moving out of state. I was told that Angie s List could assist with that as well. In response to that conversation, I received a call from Erik with Nationwide Van Lines. He represented himself as an employee of an A-Plus company that has been in business for 25-plus years. I asked Erik to give me a quote for a full-service, out-of-state move. I was very happy with the quoted price and was encouraged by Erik to go forward with a Risk Free Deposit of $1,700.00. At the time, I was only able to pay $500.00. In hindsight, I consider that a blessing! Erik emailed me the moving quote and asked that I electronically sign it at my convenience and send it back. He had already taken payment of $500.00 for a Risk Free deposit. For the record, I never did electronically sign the moving estimate. As I was contacted through Angie s List, it didn t even cross my mind that they could be scammers! About a week later, I was contacted by Brandon. He advised me that Erik had been terminated and Brandon was my new contact person. Never was it mentioned by Erik or Brandon that there was a 72-hour cancellation window. This shouldn t matter, however, as I did not electronically sign the moving estimate! As the move was approaching, I decided to call and pay the balance of my deposit. After a gut feeling, I decided to do a little more research before paying my balance. When I googled Nationwide Van Lines, I noticed a different phone number and address. I decided to call the 800 number that came up with my Google search. They answered as Nationwide Van Lines. I advised them I had an upcoming move and that I would like to work out a few details with them. When the customer service representative couldn t find my info, she advised me that I had been scammed. The real Nationwide Van Lines receives calls almost daily with horror stories of people who have been scammed by the company Nationwide Movers. The representative advised me that Nationwide Movers has been using the reputable name of Nationwide Van Lines to try and get business. They are known for lowballing the estimate to get the business, and then they greatly increase the price and use a third-party mover to complete the work. Sometimes, even holding your stuff hostage. She asked that I file a complaint with the Department of Transportation, which I did. The DOT number is for a company called EZ Moving Group DBA Nationwide Movers."

"DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR MOVING!!! In summary: 1) the moving quote they provide is wildly inaccurate - they will tag on a hundred added costs after you sign the quote 2) poor customer service - don't even bother trying to reach someone after you have signed - it will take days 3) it took several weeks to get my things 4) many items were MISSING upon delivery 5) I filed a claim for thousands of dollars of missing items, and the claim was settled at $75. what a joke. i want to warn people not to use this company."

With my wife being pregnant I couldn’t do all the work myself, so I hired these guys and they met all of our demands in an orderly fashion. Very friendly and hard working people.
