"Terminix - sales rep out of Murfreesboro- and supporting the area including Cookeville was a nightmare experience for me. I hired them in Feb of 2017 to put bait traps in my yard. Several months later, the tech came by to service the traps but realized that they had never been installed. After many phone calls and time spent, I was assured by a manager that we would be credited for the amount that we paid for but did not have coverage for. This was never entered into their computer although I continued to get newsletters and renewal notices and phone calls reminding me to renew from Terminex. I explained this situation many, many times first to the local manager, the district manager, the regional manager and my husband had similar phone calls to these managers. No one ever entered it into the computer and now it is May and I haven't had a full year's worth of coverage and they cancelled me. I am glad to be rid of Terminex. The sales rep is fantastic and spends a lot of time with you but when I called him to tell him the problem he was not interested in the conversation. Please never do business with these people. I spent over $1500 for the initial fee and got only nine months of coverage out of the deal. I NEVER write reviews but was incensed by the run around from this company."

"I notice most of the reviews are old and about Tommy; he was not the tech. Pros: They were available days before others and who wants to be stuck with dirty laundry? In the end, they charged the trip charge instead of also trying to charge for some time when the job wasn't done (like a certain Company which we no longer use). Cons: The tech started into the upsale immediately, suggesting to almost double what we expected to pay and wasn't too happy when we declined (another reason we stopped using the Company that turned their techs into sales people). He had been there about 1 1/2 hours when he discovered we had a vinyl vent which can't be safely cleaned because it may tear or break. Time was wasted to learn the vent needs to be replaced. Also, he didn't pay attention when I pointed out which 2nd story cover was for the dryer because we found the one for the bathroom on the ground later, which is there to keep birds out."
