Barnett Roofing is a local (not storm chasers) roofing company that was here before and after the storms. We specialize in residential roofing and repairs along with churches and other commercial roofs. We use only very experienced roofers who are not doing landscaping one day and laying tile another, only roofing six days a week. Most residential roofs take 8 hours to complete. We do NOT take deposits to do residential roofing usually.

"Barnett roofing put roof on 1/7/2026. When I first called them Steven came the very next day to look at the project. I agreed on their price (lowest of all bids). Matthew was the foreman of the crew that did the work….he arrived on the day/time he said and the crew went to work. Matt kept me posted on progress as the day went on, worked with me on replacing some boards that needed to be replaced. His crew was fantastic….very skilled and professional! I was VERY pleased and impressed by the job Matt and Barnett Roof did at my house. Also Megan, Cate and office staff kept me Informed on dates, time shingle color, etc. Ron, vp of operations came by during the day. I highly recommend Matthew and Barnett Roofing!"

Since this is a vacation house, we weren't able to go back to the house until August 2022. At that point we discovered that the seam was still leaking onto our newly restained deck. We contacted Higher Ground via email and phone to try to get them to come out and finish the fix. They were not very responsive and got a little nasty about only allowing 10 days for "quality control issues" on their work, even after I explained that we are not down at the house full time to be able to see that it wasn't really fixed. So they refused to make good on their work. From my perspective, I paid for a leak repair and did not get a leak repair."
