"Wonderful. In January of 2017 Brooks did my Dinning Room, Living Room, Hall, and Bathroom in a beautiful tile floor. I hire them again to come back and continue the same tile in the Kitchen and Laundry room flooring. Now I have a consistent flow throughout my open concept . I absolutely love it. Again, Brooks did not disappoint! Phil was great, he came out to measure, and gave me a really good price. He sent out the same men to do the great job they had previously done. They are exceptional. Absolute perfection! Love the Guys! Don’t hesitate to call Brooks, you won’t be disappointed."

The finished product is stunning and exceeds my expectations. Ivan's expertise was invaluable. He patiently guided me through shower design options, tile selection based on durability and aesthetics, and ensured the overall functionality met my needs. His extensive experience was evident in his insightful suggestions. The use of top-of-the-line professional tools guaranteed a flawless finish. In fact, several tile experts who visited my place remarked on Ivan's masterful craftsmanship, saying, 'He knows what he do!'" Communication with Ivan was a breeze. He was incredibly responsive, always available to answer my questions or offer suggestions, even with my frequent ideas. His pricing was competitive, and he remained flexible throughout the project as we made adjustments. Ivan consistently provided fair quotes for the additional labor required. A friend who had a fantastic experience with Manolaki Tile & Stone connected me with Ivan. I'm incredibly grateful for the recommendation and wouldn't hesitate to use their services again for future projects. Ceramic Tile questions, answered by experts

The easiest tile size to install is large tiles, and they’re easier to install than small tiles—the job is faster and simpler when there’s less placing, adhering, and grouting to do. However, when tiles get really big, they’re more difficult to handle, cut, and fit. Standard floor tile sizes are 12-by-12 inches, 18-by-18 inches, and 12-by-24 inches.

Yes, but you’ll have to use some other type of tool to avoid damaging the tile and possibly injuring yourself. Some alternatives to tile cutters include a glass cutter, angle grinder, and wet saw. Depending on the tile material, you might simply be able to measure and score it with something sharp, like a carbide-tipped pencil, and break it off. Be sure to sand the edge for a smooth installation.

The difference between floor and wall tiles is that floor tiles generally have higher strength and porosity ratings than wall tiles. Wall tiles are typically weaker and more likely to crack or become damaged under sustained pressure like high foot traffic.

For this reason, avoid using wall tiles on floors and vice versa.

Travertine is a natural stone, while porcelain is ceramic. You can enjoy the best of both worlds with porcelain travertine tiles. Some people prefer porcelain to travertine because it doesn’t require regular maintenance and it’s easier to clean. Porcelain travertine looks like the real thing but only costs $3 to $6 per square foot.

The cost depends on the type of natural stone. High-end stones can cost as much as porcelain, but it depends on the specific material. For example, the cost of flagstone pavers is typically $2 to $6 per square foot, which is much more budget-friendly than porcelain. Outdoor slate tile can cost as much as $35 per square foot, which is about the same as porcelain.
