Service Provider Response#1 This job was completed 9 months ago, not yesterday! We have worked on this issue once. We went one time where there was a small piece of trash in the grout the size pin head and then again this time for this issue. She also has failed to say that when she sent me an email on March 28 at 7:27 I responded on March 28 at 8:33 and informed them that Mike would be out to take a look which he did on the day that we said and he was on time. A "D" in responsiveness how much faster could I have responded. We have been there when we said we would each time, so a "D" for punctuality is not correct! If they didn't like the price why did they have us do the job in the first place. We have done absolutely nothing wrong! We used the best grout that is out there. Our employees that we have, have been with us for many years and they know what they are doing. She is using too many chemicals and she is obsessed with mold (her words). This grout is mold and stain resistant and using chemicals on it all of the time is going to cause problems which we informed her. We use this grout all of the time and we have never had one problem. We have removed the grout and replaced as we said we would do. We are trying to work with them, but they are not interested in that.
Service Provider ResponseI am very disappointed in this review. I did leave you a message stating that Mike would come by on his way back from Charleston and he could be there around 4 PM. You are the one that did not call me back and let me know that this was going to work. I stated that if I didn't hear back from you he would not be by. So I am guessing we have just had a miscommunication issue and for that I do apologize ! If there is anything I can do to take care of this I would be more that happy to do that. I always communicate with anyone that contacts us. Deb
Service Provider ResponseThis is statement is completely and absolutely false! Mike went by the house did the estimate during the day. There was no one at home. I type up the estimate and sent it to her on June 24th @ 7;:22 AM. I am sorry if you did receive, if you didn't receive the estimate why didn't you call and ask if it had been sent?. Mike works for and with women all day long every day. They all think he is wonderful. I have left you a voice mail asking that you give me a call to discuss. I told you when you called that Mike was about 16 weeks out with small jobs he can usually work them in sooner. Why you would even write a comment like I don't want Mike working with women was uncalled for and I don't appreciate it. Mike works with women way more often then men! I have copied the estimate below. I did remove you address and contact information. Service Provider ResponseI am glad that your kitchen is what you wanted and looks terrific. Mike Foreman Home Improvements consist of 5 employees including myself, two of which worked on this job. We contacted you two weeks prior to beginning this job. Two days before when you called to confirm and asked if you needed to have anything at your house, we informed you that we needed to have all of the items that you were supplying which consisted of appliances, flooring, sink, faucet, backsplash. We assumed that you knew that since you were supplying these they would need to be onsite. We were painting the cabinets inside and out and they would need to be cleaned out, I didn't think you would us to clean out your cabinets. On your sink that you were supplying and couldn't locate I went to every supplier in Columbia trying to find a solution to the problem. You needed a sink to fit in the existing space due to not replacing the granite tops. I was finally able to find a sink after spending four days trying to locate one. My employees are very qualified and responsible enough to do their job and I don't have to be on site the entire time. When the double oven, cooktop, & flooring were installed I was there and made sure these were done properly. I do deeply apologize for the busted water line. I wish you would have contacted me, I would have come back and fixed the problem. Once again I am glad the kitchen looks terrific. Mike & Deb Foreman

Service Provider ResponseI responded to your email within a hour of receiving it. The site was giving me problems or I would have responded in a shorter amount of time and I let you know that when I did respond. I do apologize that it took a couple of days longe than what you thought it should have to return your estimate. We always state we will get the estimate back in a couple of days, from now I now will just say we will have the estimate to you just as quickly as we can. As far as being twice what the other contractor was, when we did the bid we didn't know you had already purchased some of the items so we included buying them. You also told us that you had already hired a contactor when we walked in and just wanted to check his price.
