"Amazing! I called a few different places to get quotes and left them a voicemail, they called me back very quickly and got someone out here a couple days later (I called on a Friday afternoon they had someone here on Tuesday). They were extremely friendly and professional. I had a scheduled appointment for 4:30pm and they called me around 9:30 am to let me know they had another opening around 11:30 and asked if I would prefer them to come earlier to keep the 4:30 apt. I decided to have them come earlier and they arrived right on time. They were extremely professional and informative and gave me a few suggestions on how to keep the pests out etc. They also did a thorough walk through looking in closets, cabinets, etc. and determined there was not infestation but normal pests and sprayed the inside and outside of my place -- the whole process took about 30 minutes. Would highly suggest them and will use them again!"

Pest Control questions, answered by experts

Strong scents like peppermint, rosemary, lavender, citronella, and others can repel woodpeckers—as pungent smells can overpower their senses. For that reason, you might consider making a homemade spray with one or a combination of these scents to spritz around areas of your home where woodpeckers frequent.

No, poison isn’t the best way to deal with animals in your attic. It’s unlikely to completely eradicate the problem, especially if you don’t take care of access points. Also, poisoned animals may die and decay in the attic, causing noxious odors.

Some animals may leave the attic before the poison kills them, which could lead to nearby pets or other wildlife eating the animals and becoming poisoned themselves. Ultimately, it’s better to avoid using poison and contact a professional instead.

It’s debatable, but most will say either termites or bed bugs are the hardest to remove. When dealing with termites, you must find the central nest (as opposed to satellite nests) and exterminate the queen and all potential queens, which often takes the work of a specialist. Bed bugs, meanwhile, are incredibly hardy, good at hiding, and resistant to pesticides, so it takes very careful, very thorough work to get rid of them permanently.

While foxes may find them unpleasant, mothballs are not an effective deterrent. Additionally, mothballs are toxic for humans and animals and should never be used outside. They contain naphthalene or paradichlorobenzene, which are very harmful to the environment. Use safer, more reliable deterrents, or hire a professional wildlife control expert.

Once your pest control pro removes moths from your home, you can prevent a recurring infestation by taking a few simple steps. Keep moths from coming indoors by covering up any cracks in the exterior of your home and by keeping windows and doors closed. You could also regularly treat your home with a store-bought or DIY moth repellent. t4, set up a service contract with a professional to regularly sweep for moths and other pests.
