"Rahman Carter was my service technician for Pro Force out of Charleston. He was very thorough. I asked if he has a replacement lid for one of the termite baits traps, he stated he didn't but would put in in his notes and make sure it gets replaced during one of his next trips to Beaufort. Rahman was also extremely professional and polite during our interaction. Just another shining star for Pro Force - since I'm only able to leave a 5 out of 5 stars; I'll state my rating is actually 10 of 5 stars."

"they showed up when they said they would, and provided the service exactly as expected. In an area where contractors are known for not showing up or double charging you, its nice to know some businesses are still out there operating at a level of quality not typically seen much anymore."

Pest Control questions, answered by experts

Aside from a warm, cozy place to curl up, you might wonder what attracts mice to your home. Several items attract mice, including: Birdseed Pet food Water Cereal and whole grains Food scraps from the composting bin Open trash cans High-fat and high-sugar foods Unused cars—they make great homes for chilly mice Insulation in the attic Clutter Brush from your yard, including leaves, sticks, wood, and shrubs (so mice can make nests) Overgrown trees or bushes—mice love to leap from branches onto the roof Indoor nesting materials, including cloth, paper, tissues, and toilet paper Tiny cracks in the siding or foundation

Simply put,  there are much better approaches than using mothballs. Mothballs contain chemicals that can easily permeate a frog's delicate skin, leading to health problems. But it's not limited to just frogs; other animals and the environment could also face negative impacts. The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has taken action. It emphasizes the importance of adhering to label instructions for products like this and not moving forward with off-label use.

Consumer-brand foggers or bug bombs are considered safe overall. Still, it's essential to read the instructions carefully as the vacating time varies depending on the type of bug bomb you use. Most of the time, it's advised that all humans and pets are out of the area for at least two to four hours after initiating the fogger process. It's also a good idea to vent the space by cracking open some windows for several hours after you're back inside.

Notably, earwigs, centipedes, and spiders all enjoy a silverfish lunch. You can’t turn to natural predators to fix your silverfish problem: In fact, one issue with silverfish is that they can bring in unwanted earwigs into the house or cause a minor infestation of hungry spiders, so it’s important to get rid of them as soon as possible.

In most cases, a mother bird will return to a disturbed nest after the disturbance has passed. However, it can be hard for a mother bird to find a relocated nest. So, while it’s false that a mother bird will abandon her nest if it’s been disturbed, it’s not a good idea to relocate a nest with live babies or eggs in it.
