"I feel Commonwealth Contracting is very easy to work with. Mike Eippert always responds to any questions we may have had during the process of the work. This is the second major renovation we have had done with "Commonwealth" and both times we were very happy with the results. I will say you need to be patient with how long the project may take. We realized all of these contractors are extremely very busy at this time. However, quality was much more important to me than speed, and all of the work we had done is outstanding. As far as price they are not the cheapest nor the most expensive, however, I feel comfortable that what we paid for the complete renovation was very fair. To me "Quality" of work done is most important and that is what "Commonwealth" provides."

He was very knowledgeable and detail oriented. He saved us so much time and aggravation if we were to do the job ourselves. He was also very friendly, courteous and professional. Another thing that impressed me about them was their cleanliness and meticulousness. Every morning they laid drop cloths throughout the house where they might walk. And before they left every evening they vacuumed the entire area... WOW! I've never had a contractor do that before! "Alex arrived on schedule and we reviewed the prioritized list of tasks I had created. He was excellent at communicating issues, like a busted heat sensor on a can light fixture and a compatibility problem with my TV mounts. In the case of one of the mounts, he even disassembled the mount to make it easier for me to return. Alex was also good at pointing out design concerns (e.g. - a can light a little too close to a fan) and proposed an alternative setup. Finally he went out of his way to be fair regarding how he was billing for his time and services. These days I am usually content to find a contractor who is either technically skilled or provides good customer service--it's often one or the other. But Alex exemplifies both of these qualities. I intend to entrust as much work to him as possible."
