"Recently moved to SC and needed a RV power outlet installed. I had previously called and received an estimate(s) from another electrician. I had some knowledge of what was needed for the job, so I felt the first estimates for the other company was a bit too high (quotes ranged from $2800-5800). Then I called Pete. He came out, examined what needed to be done and gave an honest estimate. He was professional, polite and most of all HONEST. I hired him to do the work. In a few days (due to holiday) he came back and completed the job. There were some issues that created more work than what was originally thought, but Pete made sure everything was hooked up correctly and working before he left. He never charged for the extra work and only charge his original estimate (which was under what the other company wanted to charge). Unfortunately, the electrician was not able to actually fix our problem, but he determined that the motor on our ceiling fan (which we had installed a few months ago) was defective so that we could return it and exchange it for a new one. While he was here, he installed a surge protector on our main breaker box. If we have other electrical problems in the future, I will definitely call Royal electric."

We had requested a TV wall mount, but were unaware of some construction issues prohibiting them from completing the mount. If you need flooring work, he’s your guy. Anything else - no. The painting work cost me an additional $1300, because his workers paid zero attention to detail. And it held up my renovation by more than a month. Ironically, as his workers repainted my kitchen ceiling, they didn’t place a drop cloth on the tile that they expertly laid, scratching it. I spent half a day in my knees scraping paint off of my floors."
