They came out when they promised, I had a draft of the certificate by that afternoon, and a final certificate by that evening. As another reviewer said, Kathy in the front office is wonderful. I spoke to at least one of the surveyors who was also quite helpful with the scheduling, but Kathy calmed me down when I had a small meltdown in her office over an error I had made and then took it on herself to call FEMA, find out some additional information about flood zones, and then call me with the information. So easy to work with and helpful with providing details on materials needed and the process of installation. The process was fairly simple, it required a site visit from one of the engineers that surveys your roofing structure on your home and your "solar potential" (as what I was told). Then once I was approved for my solar system, the installation began immediately and the materials were ordered. The materials for the solar panels took about 2 weeks to come in (much quicker than what I expected!) Once the panels and materials came in, everything else took place. The overall installation of my 6kW took about 3 weeks given that I didn't need to do any home improvements to my roof structure, etc. Both the engineers and installers were so efficient and knew what they were doing, that's for sure! I have neighbors asking all the time where to get solar information and I recommend SC Solar every time! Their work speaks for itself and I hope to see more people using their services, you won't be dissapointed! He actually refused my offer to pay him more because I was unsure of where I wanted the trees planted (picture his crew moving trees around for an hour until I was happy with where they'd go in the yard). Ours was a big---no huge---job as evidenced by the fact that the mulch filled a dump truck!!! Jeremy arrived when he said he'd arrive, the mulch arrived when he said it would arrive, and Jeremy made sure to have the mulched dropped onto a huge tarp--therefore, there was no killed grass or mulch pieces left on the lawn. Ours was a hugely labor-intensive job as well, and Jeremy worked along-side his crew in getting everything done. I was in awe of them as they worked, and worked, and worked on our beds and lawn. Because it had rained a lot, Jeremy said he'd prefer to use wheelbarrows (instead of a bobcat) to move things to the backyard. We are on an acre of land, so the distance from front to back is the same as the length of a football field. So just imagine each trip with a filled wheelbarrow! Jeremy is also very precise and particular about his work-- the plants were spaced exactly, the sugar cane bowl was leveled exactly, the mulch was placed evenly and with care, etc. Jeremy made sure that I was totally happy, and let me say that I am just ecstatic. Ellis Concrete was and the patio had a severe slope. They poured it like a driveway just following the slope of the land. It has a 10\" drop from the back door to the end of the 22' patio and causes vertigo as you walk on it. It is dangerous! Industry standards call for 1/8\" slope per linear foot and so it should only slope 2 3/4\". I paid him half of what he proposed and withheld any further payment until they returned to fix it. I stretched a line of twine from the door to the end of the patio to show Tavius the slope and asked him if he had determined this slope before he poured. He had not. He is unprofessional and does not know the proper method for framing a job and preparing a job before the pour. He now does not return my calls. I will have to pay someone else to take out what he poured and then do it correctly. I will probably have to take him to small claims court. I will update this evaluation if he in fact returns my call, but the most I would allow him to do at this point is break out the concrete he poured and haul it all away so that I can hire someone else to do it correctly."},"url":"https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/sc/north-charleston/a1-concrete-reviews-6230315.htm"},"position":10}]}

Matt and the Risk Tree Service workers have trimmed trees and removed dead or dying trees at our house many times in the past. They are the only tree service I use and recommend. Matt and crew were removing a large tree on our neighbor's property so I asked Matt if he might possibly be able...

FAQs for land surveying projects in Mcclellanville, SC
Land surveying can help give clear guidance on your property boundaries for numerous situations. And in some cases, having your land surveyed is a requirement. Some common reasons to have your land surveyed include:
Planning for construction projects, like building a fence
Locating utilities, such as plumbing fixtures
Settling property line disputes
Creating subdivisions
Meeting mortgage requirements
Selling your property
Land surveying costs about $530 for the average homeowner. However, your total cost could range anywhere from $200 to $1,000 or more. Factors like the size of your property play a significant role in what you pay, but other things like the survey type and the time of year can also impact the final cost.
For example, if you’re looking for a simple boundary survey, you can expect to pay between $100 and $600. However, if you want a more in-depth survey that depicts the elevations of your hills and trees, you can expect to pay between $500 and $1,200 for a topographic survey.
A few different types of land surveys can help determine certain features and boundaries of your property. These include:
Boundary surveys describe the actual borders of a property. These are generally required when trying to get construction permits issued.
Location surveys provide much of the same information as a boundary survey but also include in-depth information about any improvements made to your property.
Mortgage location surveys are usually required by lenders and title companies before financing or offering an insurance policy.
Site-planning surveys are done before applying for building permits and can be issued before any major home improvements.
Topographic surveys provide a formal map of land elevations. It can also describe the location and size of natural features and any land improvements.
Land survey reports provide a lot of helpful information about your property and land. The exact information provided depends on the type of survey you have done, but common information that they can provide includes:
Location of utility fixtures
Clear boundaries and dimensions of your property
General topography
Land elevation information
Confirmation of easements or encroachments
Land surveys don’t technically expire. They do serve as a point of reference and a snapshot of your property, though, so as soon as you make changes to your property (and even if your neighbor makes certain changes to theirs), your existing land survey becomes inaccurate, and a new one must be done. Even if you don’t make any changes to your property, many states only guarantee the accuracy of a land survey for five to ten years.
