"EJ, was awesome! He was very professional, helpful, and efficient. I live in NY and have a rental in South Carolina. Ej, went out to my home 2 days after I called. He was able to assist me promptly. His price was good and his service was even better. I will be using 365 Electric again!"

"I would highly recommend this contractor. He was hired to install a home generator. He was professional and completed the job in an acceptable time. He came to my home & advised me what kind of generator I needed, gave me a quote (which I thought was very reasonable), ordered it & had it delivered to my home. Once delivered, he & his crew installed & tested it to make sure it operated correctly. They cleaned up after themselves, took away all debris. Everything was accomplished very quickly & the pro gave me good instructions on how to use it along with the manufacturer’s guidelines. Thank you, Dreamworld and thank you, Angi for recommending this pro."

"Mr. Wadford was and is very responsive to any query or request. He was always on time as was the installer. He was very patient and thorough in explaining the system operation and Bluetooth software. He insured that I understood everything and answered any and all questions. I have only had the system for a short time but it is performing perfectly. This project is to replace n old system. This new system cost $1500 less than the 20 year old system it replaced. The Wadford Water Works provides a quality system as well as quick, efficient and professional installation. I am thoroughly pleased with my decision with my choice to do business with Mr. Wadford."

"Our technicians, Jacob Flowers and Tanner Watson, were timely, courteous and thorough despite working on. a holiday weekend day. They explained in detail how the installation would proceed and remained engaged throughout the process. They completed the install, briefed us on system operation and cleaned up before departing. We would definitely recommend this company and these two gentlemen for their expertise and excellent service!"

"Very well. The Mister Sparky electrician who did our estimate also did the repair work on our home at our request. He did an excellent estimate of the work we needed done, did the work very professionally and personably, and finished the job within the estimate. This involved pulling new cable through an underground conduit and routing part of the same cable through a Charleston crawl space - it was no simple job. If I was rating this electrician I would rate him "A" across the board, but the company gets a "C" for Responsiveness because of its extremely poor office support, i.e., its answering service. Similarly, the electrician would have been rated "A" for Professionalism but the company gets a "B" rating for Professionalism for its office support. I told the company's manager and the electrician who made the repairs that its answering service is in need of substantial improvement at the time of the job."

"The company does great work. I am please with the work. They worked fast and were very friendly. They will be installing more lights for me in the near future. The lights that I bought for him to install in the kitchen doesn’t light up the kitchen enough, so since I liked the design of light so much the owner suggested that i place the same exact light in another area of the kitchen. Great idea. He was hundreds dollars cheaper than other quotes that I received. They do wonderful work. I have already recommended him to my sister that needs electrical work."

"Mike is great. We hired him to bring some outlets up to code and install a couple of new ones. He was prompt, communicative, and informative with regards to what he was doing and why it had to be done. He worked quickly and efficiently, and the final invoice was in line with what he estimated prior to the job. He also had to cut into the drywall for a couple of installations, and he took great care to replace what he removed. I was fully prepared to have to do a full patch job, but thanks to Mike's careful work I only need to do a little sanding and spackling. He also cleaned up after himself; everywhere he worked was immaculate. You'd never know he was there. I plan on using Energy Opps for any and all future electrical work I need done."

Generator Install questions, answered by experts

If you have a transfer switch properly installed, the generator and main electrical power cannot feed the system at the same time. However, you should still shut off the power at your main circuit breaker panel before activating the generator. If you do that, you’ll simply need to shut off the generator and reset your circuit breaker once the local power comes back on.

DIY is possible for basic setups. Professional installation ensures safe and proper electrical connections.

Yes, in some locations, it is required by the National Electric Code (NEC) to have a transfer switch installed for electrical emergencies. In addition to following electrical code, generator transfer switches ensure your home is fully protected during a power outage. By switching the power from the main breaker to the generator breaker, you can seamlessly operate your HVAC, lights, appliances, devices, and more during an emergency.

Yes, natural gas generators can work without electricity. Natural gas generators are a common type of backup or whole-house generator that operates when the electrical grid isn’t working. The trick is using a transfer switch (which usually needs to be installed with the generator) that safely switches the home electrical system from the power grid to generator power when needed.

Generators are safe to use as long as they are installed and operated correctly according to the manufacturer's recommendations. The most critical safety tips are to never use a portable or fuel-powered generator inside an enclosed space due to the risk of lethal carbon monoxide poisoning; always operate it outdoors where fumes can dissipate away from your home. Additionally, never attempt to connect a generator to your home’s electrical panel yourself—hire a professional to ensure the setup meets safety standards. Finally, avoid overloading the generator by not connecting more appliances than it is rated for, as this can damage your equipment or cause a fire.
