He was wonderful. I had one person come out that was saying he would charge $2000 to put in a microwave and cut a cabinet but Andy Oncall did it for about $150 and I was really pleased with him. He was very professional. It is a company and not just a person.

After being totally dissatisfied with cabinet shops recommended by my general contractor during new construction, a friend mentioned The Cabinet Shop. I stopped by and talked to Mike for an estimate. I told him that I would installing oak trim in my home and wanted oak cabinets to match. He walked me through the various options available and worked up an estimate based on my floorplan and pictures of the bar I wanted. When I received the estimate and drawings, it was exactly what I wanted and to my amazement within $4,000.00 of the estimates I'd received for pre-built cabinets, but without the spacers.
As the project proceeded, there were problems with the general contractor meeting the agreed upon terms with The Cabinet Shop to get the cabinet started. Cliff, the owner, worked with me to get things started to meet the scheduled installation dates in spite of the contractor. They started the installation work when they promised and did an outstanding job. When we ran into a problem in the laundry room with the cabinets being to low because of the storage bins purchased with the washer and dryer, they adjusted the heights within a couple of hours so that installation could be accomplished.
I had them build a full bar in my media room based on pictures from a previous house. They did an outstanding job from brass foot rails to the bar top surface and eliminated the stacking of separate cabinets that was offered by other companies. This along with the integrated bookshelves and fireplace mantel in the great room showed how detailed they are and talent and professionalism of the work crews.
After their installation was complete, Mike gave me a call after stopping by to inspect their work. At that time, he advised me of some damage to my kitchen island that I was not aware of. The general contractor lied and claimed the damage had been done in the original installation, but when I inspected it, I knew that the damage had not been there the last time I had looked at the cabinets. I even had pictures that showed no damage. Instead of arguing over the damage, they had their crew repair the damage, no questions asked. Their only concern was providing me with a quality product.
I will strongly recommend The Cabinet Shop to anyone interested in good quality cabinets. More importantly, I would recommend them for their dedication to customer satisfaction. Hats off to both Cliff and Mike for making this portion of my construction project as painless as possible.

The island cabinet was delayed due to it being custom. Since our home is older, there was settling to be dealt with, but the installer was very knowledgeable and professional and did a superb job ensuring the cabinets were level and square. Several weeks later when the island cabinet was delayed, it was found that a slightly larger size had been shipped. It was determined that the larger cabinet would still work in the space and with the granite slab selected. However, the finish panel that was shipped was for the smaller cabinet not sent. As a result, the island was installed but additional delay was encountered waiting for the correct panel. Once received, the installer again did a beautiful job. A couple of days after the cabinets were installed, the granite countertops were put in place. The countertop supplier did a fantastic job. The only rub was that there seemed to be a decline in interest by Strock once the job got underway. I suspect it was due to our job being small and business was beginning to pick up elsewhere. After the peremeter cabinets were installed, we received a bill for partial payment via email. No one contacted us to get feedback as to how happy we were with the install at that point. We learned of the error in cabinet size and panel delay through the installer. After completion of the entire cabinet and countertop installation, we received the final bill via email. No one from Strock did a walk-through of the completed job, nor did anyone call to get our feedback."},"url":"https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/sc/north-charleston/strock-enterprises-design-and-remodel-reviews-485957.htm"},"position":10}]}

The finished product is gorgeous and very beautiful, and we get joy from seeing it every day. There is another component of that business a man by the name of Mr. Danie Rosenberg. Another component of the Evangeline business is Danny Rosenberg a master woodworking Craftsman. He restored a dysfunctional kitchen cabinet unit and made it perfect in their very short order. He is also extremely responsive and professional. While he admittedly doesn't move as fast as he used to, that was not a problem for us at all. We would rather have someone take their time and do the job the right way than work hurriedly. His pricing was fair and he is willing to do both small and large jobs. We will absolutely use him again for our finish carpentry needs."

"So pleased with my choice to use Blue Horizon, Rusty was great to work with, he kept me well informed on the schedule work. His crew showed up on time and completed the work that was scheduled for that day. I used most of Rusty suggestions , from the design firm to the cabinet maker. Rusty taught me a lot through this 8 month process of the remodel. When an issue came up( as they often do in a remodel), he always had options to handle the situation. We are very pleased with our “new” house. I don’t think you will find a better company or person to work with. Ask for Rusty."

FAQs for pre-made cabinet service projects in Kiawah Island, SC
Custom cabinets are worth the investment to transform the look of your kitchen with a design, color scheme, and aesthetic that’s unique to your home. If you’re looking for cabinets that reflect your personality but are more cost-effective, semi-custom cabinets are a great alternative that allows you to showcase your style, but with pre-made cabinets instead of fully custom. Custom cabinets also provide a 70 to 80 percent return on investment, making them a worthwhile purchase.
The cost of home remodeling is $50,000 for the average homeowner. However, this cost can range anywhere from $3,000 for a small projectto $170,000 for a whole home remodel. Factors like project size, location, and room type all affect your overall cost. For example, bedroom remodeling costs are one of the least expensive projects, costing about $1,500 to $5,500 per bedroom. However, a kitchen remodel has a significant cost range, totaling anywhere from $14,500 to over $70,000.
Yes, most states require home remodeling contractors to be licensed, and for good reason. Hiring an unlicensed home remodeling contractor could lead to poor quality work, costly future expenses, and potential code violations.
As you browse our pro listings, take note of the “Angi Approved” badge. Angi Approved businesses meet our standards for certification which include:
The owner, principal, or relevant manager passed a criminal background check
Required to have applicable state and local licenses
Maintain an average star rating of 3.0 or better on our network, if they have at least one review
Paying to advertise their services
Meeting any other eligibility criteria required by Angi
Keep in mind licensing is different from certifications. A license is a legal requirement to operate a business, while certifications are voluntary.
Custom cabinets cost between $500 and $1,200 per linear foot on average to install. Factors like materials, size, and type of cabinet doors you choose significantly affect the overall cost.
For example, a basic slab cabinet door can cost $60 to $70 for materials alone. As its name suggests, this material is a piece of wood with no unique features. However, a mullioned glass inset panel door, which features a designed glass panel, ranges from $100 to $200 for materials per cabinet door.
The best time of year to remodel your home is late winter and early spring when fewer homeowners are thinking about projects and pros are more available. Also consider the type of remodel you want and plan ahead as much as possible. For example, the summer is a great time of year to update your fireplace, but winter is a better option for fixing foundations and building room additions.
