After exhausting my maintenance efforts, I researched creditable businesses via Angie’s list and discovered Hill Plumbing & Electric Inc. After a brief call to them, a technician (Jason) arrived and he intently listened as I explained the tankless hot-water heater problems and the maintenance history of the unit. Afterwards, Jason carefully explained possible causes and what actions he would be taken to diagnose the problem(s). Jason quickly discovered the problem, repaired the unit and explained what actions were taken. The repair cost was fair and reasonable; much less than I expected. Additionally, Jason provided a full unit replacement quote, as my tankless unit is 14-years old and nearing its life expectancy. I’m extremely impressed with Hill Plumbing & Electric Inc. and I highly recommend them. Their customer service and technical skills are exceptional."

Hello my name is Landen Hollis, and I have 2+ years of a combination of Commercial and Residential work. I have built homes from the ground up, including concrete work, framing, insulating, final work, ETC. I’m here looking to find additional work and grow my network.

"First impression was great: Tim picked up the phone right away, was available the same afternoon, called when he was on his way, and was overall very personable. Unfortunately, he didn't seem to actually want to do the work. He fixed the tub drain right away. Would barely look at the shower control issue and without even taking the front piece off to look, told me it would need to be replaced because the fixture was not a name brand. Did not tell me what would be involved, give me a quote, or express any interest in doing the work, just "Yep, that needs to be replaced. What else needs to be done?" So I showed him the toilet with a weak flush (water running into the bowl, had to hold handle down to flush completely). He tried flushing it a couple of times and told me I needed a new toilet because this one was "a piece of junk". I asked what was wrong with it and he said something vague about there probably being cracks in some unnamed part, and he'd have to take the tank off to repair it and by that time we may as well get a new toilet. Was there anything else I needed him to look at? I asked him to try to repair it and he went and got his snake (??? it was never clogged), snaked it, said it wasn't clogged and we needed a new one. I asked him what would happen if he replaced the flapper. He did and voila, it flushed without holding the handle down... A few minutes later he heard water running into the bowl again. He pulled out some other part and replaced that and like magic, that was fixed too. Before he left, I asked for a quote to replace the shower controls and he seemed reluctant to give me one. It wasn't an unreasonable number. I felt like he didn't want my business unless we wanted to remodel the whole bathroom. I'm not sure why I had to make a specific suggestion for how to fix my own toilet to get him to do it, unless he thought I was too dumb to know that it was a simple repair. I did appreciate that he charged me fairly for the work he did do. I appreciated that he was friendly and available the same day. But will I be calling him the next time I need a plumber? Sadly, no."

"After talking with several plumbers, I decided to use Southeast Plumbing and Gas. Brian answered all of my questions and quoted me a very competitive price. Brian installed a new dishwasher, put in a new tankless water heater (plus ran new electrical for the unit) and some other smaller fixes. He was professional, courteous, and did the work for what he quoted. He also tackled some additional plumbing issues that cropped up while he was doing everything else. He was at our house for over 12 hrs fixing everything and making sure everything was working properly before he left. I would definitely recommend SE Plumbing and Gas and would use them again."

"Life Savers!! We live in an older house with a very small bathroom. We had a home inspection recently and were altered to some major subfloor, sill and joist damage. We knew it was in rough shape but the inspector used terms like “100% moisture and “previous repairs poorly completed”. I called a few other contractors and remodel companies that started to throw around some huge numbers and timelines to make the repairs. The consensus from them was the tub would have to be removed before they could do any subfloor repairs. In a house with one shower that wasn’t really an option for us. I saw the reviews for the Crawlspace Medic and decided to give them a call. It was the best decision I could have made. Sharon, Paul and Stanley were great; they made the process very easy and efficient from the initial phone call to the installation. Paul came out to do the initial visit (11/14) and assured me he had seen much worse and his company had developed methods to do all the necessary repairs from underneath the house leaving the current bathroom intact. The quote arrived the same day and was extremely reasonable. They got us on the schedule right away (11/20) and on the day of the repairs Nick and his crew arrived on time and were very professional. The job was scheduled for two days but they completed it in one and did a great job. We no longer have to worry about falling through the floor. They also provide a follow up inspection in 90 days and informed us of a couple other minor leaks that were noticed while completing the repairs. Crawlspace medic is a great company and I would 100% recommend them to anyone needing their services."
