On a Sunday afternoon I decided to fix a slow drip on the water pipe that feeds into the back of the toilet. The tube coming into the house from the outside was PVC and it was connected to a metal valve attached to the toilet. As I attempted to tighten the connection, the plastic pipe suddenly snapped causing an immediate flood into my bathroom! I ran outside and turned off the water before it did too much damage then proceeded to shopvac 25 gallons of water out of my bathroom floor.

I immediately called Tim Cook, owner of American Plumbing Company and he was at my house within the hour. He knew exactly what to do because I described the situation to him over the phone. He had already gone by Lowes on the way and got the part he needed to get me fixed up. He had the problem corrected in a matter of minutes. He told me to let the glue dry for about an hour before turning the water back on, which I did. After a while I turned the water on with no problems. Tim called me to check on me after I had turned the water on to make sure I had no problems.

Tim did a great job, was extremely punctual and charged me a fair price especially considering he had to come out at 4:00 on a Sunday afternoon. He also gets bonus points for calling back to check on me! Thanks Tim!
