"Great! The work was done last November and I chose to wait a couple months to see if the fix would last over time. It did! They also had another drainage issue that I was unaware of. Clearing typically takes 1-2 hours, depending on the blockage size and location.

A clogged air gap can cause a dishwasher not to drain. There are, however, other potential issues that can lead to improper drainage.
