"Recently, I started having intermittent problems with my tankless hot-water heater. After exhausting my maintenance efforts, I researched creditable businesses via Angie’s list and discovered Hill Plumbing & Electric Inc. After a brief call to them, a technician (Jason) arrived and he intently listened as I explained the tankless hot-water heater problems and the maintenance history of the unit. Afterwards, Jason carefully explained possible causes and what actions he would be taken to diagnose the problem(s). On a Sunday afternoon I decided to fix a slow drip on the water pipe that feeds into the back of the toilet. The tube coming into the house from the outside was PVC and it was connected to a metal valve attached to the toilet. As I attempted to tighten the connection, the plastic pipe suddenly snapped causing an immediate flood into my bathroom! I ran outside and turned off the water before it did too much damage then proceeded to shopvac 25 gallons of water out of my bathroom floor.

I immediately called Tim Cook, owner of American Plumbing Company and he was at my house within the hour. He knew exactly what to do because I described the situation to him over the phone. He had already gone by Lowes on the way and got the part he needed to get me fixed up. He had the problem corrected in a matter of minutes. He told me to let the glue dry for about an hour before turning the water back on, which I did. After a while I turned the water on with no problems. Tim called me to check on me after I had turned the water on to make sure I had no problems.

Tim did a great job, was extremely punctual and charged me a fair price especially considering he had to come out at 4:00 on a Sunday afternoon. He also gets bonus points for calling back to check on me! Thanks Tim!

"After talking with several plumbers, I decided to use Southeast Plumbing and Gas. Brian answered all of my questions and quoted me a very competitive price. Brian installed a new dishwasher, put in a new tankless water heater (plus ran new electrical for the unit) and some other smaller fixes. He was professional, courteous, and did the work for what he quoted. He also tackled some additional plumbing issues that cropped up while he was doing everything else. He was at our house for over 12 hrs fixing everything and making sure everything was working properly before he left. I would definitely recommend SE Plumbing and Gas and would use them again."

"Life Savers!! We live in an older house with a very small bathroom. We had a home inspection recently and were altered to some major subfloor, sill and joist damage. We knew it was in rough shape but the inspector used terms like “100% moisture and “previous repairs poorly completed”. I called a few other contractors and remodel companies that started to throw around some huge numbers and timelines to make the repairs. The consensus from them was the tub would have to be removed before they could do any subfloor repairs. In a house with one shower that wasn’t really an option for us. I saw the reviews for the Crawlspace Medic and decided to give them a call. It was the best decision I could have made. Sharon, Paul and Stanley were great; they made the process very easy and efficient from the initial phone call to the installation. Paul came out to do the initial visit (11/14) and assured me he had seen much worse and his company had developed methods to do all the necessary repairs from underneath the house leaving the current bathroom intact. The quote arrived the same day and was extremely reasonable. They got us on the schedule right away (11/20) and on the day of the repairs Nick and his crew arrived on time and were very professional. The job was scheduled for two days but they completed it in one and did a great job. We no longer have to worry about falling through the floor. They also provide a follow up inspection in 90 days and informed us of a couple other minor leaks that were noticed while completing the repairs. Crawlspace medic is a great company and I would 100% recommend them to anyone needing their services."
