"After initially interviewing Caridi Painting and Finishing, I felt that the two partners were very knowledgeable and experienced in painting a 6' fence of which 60' was installed 3 1/2 months ago and another 40' that was installed 6 years ago. The HOA that I belong to, requires a specific "paint" which really turned out to be a stain, that had to be used. Even before I informed Caridi partners what was required they indicated that a stain would be best, that it would require 2 coats, and a couple of specific items, such as what would be sprayed and what would be painted with a brush. Due to the "good" weather (no painting/staining within 2/3 days of rain), they showed up on time, immediately put cardboard under the fence where there was grass, taped what was metal (the latch) and proceeded to "paint." Overall, the job was done professionally and I would rate Caridi a 10 (on a scale of 10)."

"I am completely satisfied with the services provided. I had the ceilings, walls, and trim painted in most of my house (about 1600 square feet), and had drywall installed over paneling in one room. Daniel advised me of better alternatives to what I was planning, and I’m glad I took his advice (i.e., he advised to drywall over the paneling rather than filling the grooves and painting over it; and to paint trim with oil based paint for better adhesion because it was originally painted with oil based paint--which I did not notice until he pointed it out to me). He worked with a crew of two other men; they were fast (it took 4 days), neat (no drips, splashes, or marks with the paint; and cleaned up after themselves), and did a high quality job (good prep work and paint coverage). Daniel was responsive and good to work with. And, last but not least, the price was very fair. If you are considering what to do with an old paneled room, I recommend you consider installing drywall over the paneling. Daniel installed a 1/4” thick drywall over the paneling, which butts up to the door and window trim and crown molding. They used caulk to seal between the drywall and trim, which was painted to match the trim. I was concerned it would look strange, but it’s fine; I don’t think you would notice the “thin” trim unless you knew about it. We removed the baseboard, so drywall was installed to the floor and are installing new baseboard."

"Eli has completed two jobs for me, the first was changing out a garbage disposal; after agreeing to a very fair price Eli was meticulous with the install and even cleaned up and left my under sink spotless when finished. The second job was painting a stairway going to my second level, this has very high walls and not an easy job. He first taped all the electrical switches, the floorboard and made sure tarps were laid down so no paint could damage my stairs and floors. He even fixed an area without my asking where there was small damage on one wall. He spent as much time preparing and he did on the painting and the results really show. Once again, he left my house spotless as he cleaned up before leaving. I gave him an extra $100 as I was very happy with his work and the outcome. "First let me state that this review is way too late being written and I sincerely apologize for that. Mark headed up this effort and his crew came in, did the job professionally, fast and a good job. I'd recommend Lester's Painting to anyone and would definitely use them again. Mark is just an amazing person to work with and once we finish all of our decorating we intent to invite him over for drinks to see the finished apartment. (Mark, we're getting there, haha!) As I stated in the "what work was done" section this was a complex and very detailed interior paint requirement and the execution here was AMAZING! Metalics, various colors, contrasting ceilings, trims, doors and accents! Work done was at a fair price, impressive results and we are beyond pleased with it all! Family and friends have been blown away by the scheme and while that requires good planning (my amazing wife's tastes!) it needed perfect execution - and Lester's deliver 110%! Great people, great work, fair price - You won't find a better company in our opinion so go ahead and request a quote for your job! -- This ends the review of Lester's Painting -- the following is a side note. The following is NOT a review of Lester's themselves but a lesson to be learned if you read this review. That lesson. Stick with the services Lester's will do and plan jobs outside that scope with another professional... There was only a single issue (OF NO FAULT OF LESTER'S OR MARK HIMSELF) - one of the painters (very talented) who was supposed to come back and do a side project (and at the same time do the final touchup of paint). He worked incredibly hard to complete the task in one evening but was only able to complete about 80% of the wallpaper and never replaced or painted the baseboards he removed as part of the effort. Despite being paid for the entire job with the agreement he'd return attempts to reach him to arrange the completion were ignored and he would not respond. We'll finish this up soon, the paper, replacement of baseboards and painting of those to match. So again, just a lesson to us and maybe someone who thinks about odd jobs that are slightly out of scope --NOT a fault of Lester's painting, though."
