"used them in the Augusta Georgia area and THEY WERE " TERRIBLE ". They painted over visible issues / damages without any type of correction. They were sloppy and INCOMPETENT. One of the rooms that they painted was so TERRIBLE that I asked for my money back, which I received. Please, if you love your home and your MONEY even more, then don't use use CertaPro of the CSRA. These are the guys that CertaPro sent to paint my house ???. ?????????"

Yes, it matters which side of drywall you use. One side is smooth, and the other is rough. You can install backsplash on kitchen drywall, as long as you ensure your drywall is clean and dry before you apply the tiles. The time it takes for thinset to dry is determined by your room’s ambient temperature and humidity levels. Assuming the average humidity level is around 40% with an average temperature of 70 degrees Fahrenheit, thinset can dry within 48 hours. Lower temperatures and higher humidity can extend the curing process beyond 72 hours, while high heat and zero humidity can shorten the curing process. However, thinset can crack if it dries too fast.

In most applications, shiplap installations cost more than that of putting in drywall. However, several ways exist to reduce shiplap prices, especially for small locations or accent walls, which can keep the total cost of shiplap competitive with that of drywall.

The best way to make long, straight cuts is to use a utility knife and a T-square to score the sheet, snap along the score, and then finish the cut by cutting through the paper on the opposite side with the utility knife. If you’re making small cuts, curved cuts, or cutouts for electrical boxes or light fixtures, you can use a manual jab saw to keep costs down, but an electric spiral saw or oscillating multi-tool will get the cleanest, fastest cuts possible.
