In the early years Jerry operated the business as a part time business where he and a helper would go out at night and on the weekends to help customers who had called in earlier in the day as Jerry already had a full time job. Nights and Weekends were the only times available to take care of the customers needs. This was the process for several years, until the amount of work increased and Full time employees were added to serve the customers in a more timely manor. In addition to plumbing repairs Jerry also saw the need in the area for a portable restroom service and purchased several units for renting in 1973. As time went on this addition to the company began to grow one by one, and from this Jiffy Jon was born. Presently Jiffy Jon has nearly 500 portable restrooms available for rent for Construction Sites and Special Events of all kinds. In 1990 Jerry's son Scott joined the business as Vice President / Manager and he continues to oversee day to day operations today.
