"From start to finish a very excellent experience! Chris and Tasha personally arrive at the site, and from beginning to end they were both professional and courteous to the job at hand. My gutters are clean again, and the debris on my roof was also removed, we really do appreciate it! Very pleasant to deal with, great pricing, will definitely be contacting C Stromberg Services Inc again in the future!"

"Brian and Kevin did a wonderful job installing a new liner in my inground pool. They also repaired our pool pump and upgraded the system to run smoother.....as the pool is 30 yrs old! I want to add all his team were very professional and efficient making sure that everything was perfect! We were very pleased and in the future they will be our first call for any pool issues. We will be hiring them to open and close our pool every year!"

"We hired Set in Stone to create a new patio, pool deck (including new pool coping), front patio, front door step, stone outdoor kitchen, stone sitting wall, and stone firepit. We couldn't be happier with the results! numerous people have commented that our backyard looks like a 5 star resort. Ray and his team were beyond excellent. Ray was on site regularly and went above and beyond in every way. He even adjusted certain things that took extra time and work (details that we would have never noticed or considered) because it was the right way to do it. Things like proper drainage, slopes, sightlines. With such a big job, we are thankful we chose Ray and his team to do it right. The Team of Masons are the best in the business as well. with a pile of rocks, a hammer, stake and string they created a beautiful oasis and outdoor living area we would never have been able to dream of - no stone veneer, or engineered products, real deal STONES. During one of our first consultations with Ray we asked "where do you buy the stone?" thinking there would be a catalog or something. He said "from the ground.....when we dig them up, we use them somewhere" the result is a beautiful and natural end product. Ray also worked with us throughout the project to make sure we were happy and to make sure we understood what was going on, and why. we learned a lot, and quickly realized how lucky we were to be working with a great team of professionals who are proud of what they build. we've since referred Set in Stone to friends, family and neighbors and will surely use them again."

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."

"Finally - a service technician who is competent, does what he says he's going to do and charges a fair price for it! I had been looking for someone to fix our jacuzzi bath tub for awhile and had had no luck finding someone through Jacuzzi, so I checked out Angie's List and found House of Spas.  Based on the reviews, I gave them a call.  Troy got back to me promptly; we set up an appointment; he came when he said he would and determined that we needed a new pump.  He told me that he would order one and then call me when it came in, and left without asking for any payment.   After a week or so -- I don't remember exactly how long but it was what you would expect in terms of getting a new part -- he called to tell me the pump was in and we set up the installation appointment.  He returned when he said he would with another technician, they installed the pump, and the jacuzzi has been working fine ever since. Troy charged me $400 for the pump, $95 for the initial service call and $100 for the labor to install the pump/check for leaks, etc., all of which seemed fair to me, especially considering the distance he traveled to do the work.  He accepted a 10% Angie's List coupon, so that brought the total down to $535.50, with a 1 year warranty on parts and labor. I would definitely recommend House of Spas."

Install Above Ground Pools questions, answered by experts

To ensure safety during pool and spa service, strictly follow Warwick building codes by installing a 48-inch barrier fence with self-closing, self-latching gates. Store all chemicals in a secure, code-compliant area away from children. Always ask your local professionals for the exact re-entry times after chemical treatments. Prevent chemical runoff into nearby natural waters to protect pets and local wildlife across RI.

Helpful?

Schedule pool and spa service before Memorial Day for your spring opening and before the first hard freeze in late October for closing. You must also book service after heavy coastal storms or nor'easters to clear debris and rebalance water chemistry. Watch for cloudy water during humid Warwick summers, and inspect equipment for leaks or pressure drops caused by winter freeze-thaw cycles.

Helpful?

For pool and spa service in Warwick, keep supplies for both the active summer season and the long winter closure. You need a heavy-duty skimmer for fall leaves and a reliable water testing kit to manage summer algae. Prepare for freezing temperatures by storing expansion plugs and an air compressor to blow out lines. Maintaining proper water chemistry is also essential to meet RI sanitation standards.

Helpful?

Pool and spa service directly impacts multiple home systems. Adding equipment like pumps or heaters requires electrical panel upgrades in older Warwick homes and proper gas line connections. Draining a pool in coastal RI areas with high water tables creates hydrostatic pressure risks for nearby foundations. You must also install required backflow prevention devices to keep pool water from contaminating your home irrigation system.

Helpful?

Completing regular pool and spa service maintains your property value, though resale appeal varies by lot size. Buyers on larger lots appreciate a well-maintained pool, while a spa offers year-round appeal for smaller properties. Document all permitted work and safety compliance to prevent closing delays. A fully compliant, properly fenced pool in Warwick also ensures better insurability and prevents costly insurance surcharges.
