"John gave me an estimate over the summer after letting me know his schedule wasn't open until fall. After looking at the sagging plaster ceilings in our 1920s house, he recommended covering with drywall, and he did the work in December. John and his colleague did two ceilings in 4 days (about 700 square feet total) and they are a huge improvement. We're already planning to hire him again!"

"I asked for many quotes on home advisor for my very small job. I’ve learned that given my small house small jobs are both expensive and hard to get quality people to even consider them. Kyle not only called right away but also offered to come look at my project the same day within an hour. He did an amazing job repairing my drywall which I honestly thought I would need to replace it was so damaged from tile and oven hood removal. He was professional, on time, respectful, and cleaned up to a degree I have not had an experience with in the past with other contractors. I would highly recommend him!"

"Nestaly and Edwin did a great job replacing an exterior wooden staircase and metal railing system with a Trex solution that is both beautiful and solid as a rock. With its breathability and flexibility, lime plaster is among the most durable of all plaster types. It's also fire-resistant and has a proven track record, as people have been using it for thousands of years.

However, all plaster types will last for many years with the right care and treatment. Proper preparation and installation will also help ensure your plaster walls look great for as long as possible.

The cost to install drywall is between $1.50 and $3 per square foot, while shiplap installation costs between $2 and $7 on average. In most applications, shiplap installations cost more than that of putting in drywall.
