"John gave me an estimate over the summer after letting me know his schedule wasn't open until fall. After looking at the sagging plaster ceilings in our 1920s house, he recommended covering with drywall, and he did the work in December. John and his colleague did two ceilings in 4 days (about 700 square feet total) and they are a huge improvement. We're already planning to hire him again!"

"I asked for many quotes on home advisor for my very small job. I’ve learned that given my small house small jobs are both expensive and hard to get quality people to even consider them. Kyle not only called right away but also offered to come look at my project the same day within an hour. He did an amazing job repairing my drywall which I honestly thought I would need to replace it was so damaged from tile and oven hood removal. He was professional, on time, respectful, and cleaned up to a degree I have not had an experience with in the past with other contractors. I would highly recommend him!"

"Nestaly and Edwin did a great job replacing an exterior wooden staircase and metal railing system with a Trex solution that is both beautiful and solid as a rock. They were here at 8 AM both days and cleaned the debris up afterward. Wonderful people and company to have working with me on this project. Drywall anchors won’t work on plaster. Instead, they will more than likely cause more damage and pull out the plaster. The best type of anchors to use on plaster walls are the ones that will bite into the surrounding area, such as molly bolts and toggle bolts. Masonry anchors with expanders on the sides also work for lighter pictures.

Look for flaking paint or air bubbles that burst and then flake away. Paint will begin to flake after being exposed to minimal moisture or water, so it’s a good indicator of any water damage. If you notice your paint starting to flake, feel the plaster underneath to see if it is soft or damp.
