"It’s never a good time for your roof to start leaking, but if it’s going to happen, you can only hope to find a roofer like Mighty Dog Roofing of Rhode Island. We bought our house a couple years ago with the knowledge that we’d need a new roof soon. Sure enough, this spring, rain started coming in through our bathroom ceiling. We put a bucket out, and started making phone calls. One of those was to Mighty Dog Roofing of Rhode Island. Within a couple hours, they were at our house, placing a temporary patch, and talking us through the work we’d need done. They sent up a drone to take pictures, and peeked into the attic. It was the beginning of a truly exceptional relationship. Here are three reasons we loved working with Mighty Dog: Patience! The guys never got tired of answering our endless questions, or explaining the intricacies of roofing materials in laymen’s terms. We were never made to feel rushed, or silly for wanting to know more. Education! You know what we didn’t know anything about? Roofs! You know what we know a ton about now? ROOFS! Jonathan and Andrew spent a lot of time talking with us about ventilation, snow dams, shingles, chimneys, gutters…I could go on. But they made sure we understood the project, and could make informed decisions about it. They love what they do, and it shows. Competence! They know their stuff. They were well-prepared. They shared realistic timelines. They used great materials. (Our Owen Corning shingles look so gooood!) At all times, they showed skill and enthusiasm for our roofing job. And one more big reason to love them?! Care! Big home repairs are a vulnerable moment, but Mighty Dog took the fear out of the process. They communicated generously. They showed up for the install with an amazing team. They spoke with neighbors on our crowded street to make sure that no one was inconvenienced by vehicles or errant nails. "Replacing a roof is not cheap - and it’s not exactly the most fun thing to throw a lot of money at (versus, say, a new bathroom) . AEM (Kevin B. in particular) made this not only painless, but even pleasant. We got three bids - Kevin B. from AEM was the only one that bothered to actually visit our house, meet with us and explain the process. The other bids were just emailed in, apparently using some imaging system that let them measure our rooftop. AEMs bid was not the cheapest of the three, but it was absolutely competitive with the other two - and, because of Kevin’s walking us through the process, we felt much more comfortable having them do the project. Communication as we were getting closer to the day was very good (I work at home - so I knew I’d have to take the day off given the noise). There were a few unavoidable weather delays - Kevin always kept me informed. On the actual day, the team was here early - as was Kevin - and the whole process was done in a day. Something really cool - they had to get into our yard through our neighbor’s back yard (with his permission, of course!) - as a gesture, they raked his leaves! They also cleaned our gutters while they were up there doing the roof. After the fact, the cleanup was perfect - our back yard was spotless! Kevin and his colleague also did some great work repairing our soffits. Anyhow - I don’t think we can recommend AEM highly enough - they care for their customers - and made this as painless as possible. We are very happy with the results. Thanks Kevin and team!"

Project started on time and completed true to the quote given. Not the cheapest quote we received (nowhere near the highest either) but certainly a good value."

Crew & team were extremely professional, great communicators, always went the extra step to ensure the project was done exactly as it was requested. We moved into a new office space and originally just wanted some touch-ups, they transformed the space into something we didn't think was possible, all while meeting our tight deadlines. "5 stars for the window replacement. Everything about it, and all of the various people involved (sales, measurements, installation, inspection) were fantastic. The installation team did leave some debris on-site, but the inspector took it away in his truck before he left. 4 stars for the siding work (subcontracted). They did a good job on a 90+ degree day. They did use some of our bricks that were being used as an animal barrier for our garden to level their ladder and didn't put them back. We also had language barriers that made the signing off process a littler longer. Some random metal pieces from the job were left in our driveway and boarders, but were easy to find before they did any potential damage to car tires. 1 star for the insulation work (subcontracted). The guy was supposed to come between 7-9 am, but due to a "communication issue" on their side, he didn't come until 12:30 pm. My wife took off work to be home to let him in, and had they told us he would be there in the afternoon, I could've been home and no time off needed. Punctual is supposedly one of their bill of rights. We wanted a radiant barrier put on our roof. He did maybe 70% and stopped, calling the job done. He also left a bunch of the fasteners on the floor of our attic and didn't take the time to cut off any excess material. My wife signed off on the paperwork without looking at the job (partially her fault), but the installer had her sign it on the first floor and made it seem like he was in a hurry to get back to PA where he's from. I called and complained about the job and sent photos and video. It was the end of the day, and I missed the call back, but there was no communication after. Without letting us know, it turns out, they are coming tomorrow between 10-noon. I only found this out because I called to complain about the gutter installation that was late and asked about a follow-up to the attic install. ZERO communication that someone was going to be coming, so now I have to take off of work again in hopes that they actually show up. It's not listed on the app that they tout as the greatest thing ever. 1 star so far for the gutter installation (subcontracted). The gutter installation was supposed to be done on Tuesday (two days ago, and a day after the siding since it goes on top of a portion of that), but then the app mysteriously updated itself to say Thursday (today) between 8-10 am. This isn't a huge deal since it's outside and no one needs to be home, but again, no actual communication from Power. At 11:30, we noticed that no one had shown up, so I called. It turns out, the install team couldn't source the black gutter materials, and so they'll have to do it tomorrow. ZERO communication from Power until I called them. The app even shows that they're still coming today between 8-10 even after I called and complained. It's supposed to rain today/tomorrow, and the manager assured me that it wouldn't do any damage to the siding that we just had them install. They have 10 bill of rights. They can go ahead and take off customer first, allocation, and punctual based on their descriptions. If you need windows done, I highly recommend them. When they try to sell you on other stuff, find someone else."

"I received 3 different quotes and Pro X was the best.Mike said 8-10 days ,but the crew finished in6 1/2 days.The crew worked very well together. the windows and doors where done first ,then the siding crew and finally the gutters,downspouts with leaf guards. If you have a question,Mike gets back to you within minutes,and sent e mails with any updates.My house looks awesome!"
