Scott Cullin, the sales tech was very accommodating with scheduling our initial appointment. He was on time, asked about our project scope, performed his water tests and made a recommendation based on the findings. He was not high pressure at all. I advised that I was getting competitive proposals and it would be a few days before I made a decision. Orbit's equipment is the most efficient, seems to be the best quality, and quite frankly had the best warranties. The installation went well. The installer removed old equipment and installed the new softener and filtration kit. He was in and out within the 3 hour time window specified. He answered all the questions I had for him during the installation. Once everything was done and cleaned up, he went through the operation with me, explaining how everything worked and what things to keep an eye on. Very good experience. "Another company (the company that had originally installed my tankless water heater) looked at it a couple of times but was unable to determine the cause of the issue I was having and indicated that I'd need to replace it. G. H. Mechanical called the manufacturer, and with their input, was able to troubleshoot and fix the issue. So hopefully I'll be able to get a few more years of use out it - saving (or at least deferring) what I understand will probably be close to $2,000 in expense. Thank you, Ovi! Regarding cost: I paid about $250. I think Ovi was here about 2 hours â maybe more â partly because he was on hold with the manufacturer for quite a while. Based on the info on Home Advisor's "How much does a plumber cost" page, I'd say that's very reasonable. Definitely worth it to me in any case!"
