"A1 Handyman & Plumbing Services saved my house. I moved into a home built in 1925 and after three months noticed an open, leaking pipe in the basement ceiling. Water was pouring out of it, to provide a more accurate description. Sean from A1 came to the house. He investigated the leaking pipe further and discovered not only serious plumbing issues (multiple pipes connected to the same main drainage pipe) but also an abandoned oil tank was hidden behind the drywall; the consequences of neglect and thriftiness from the previous owners. The huge tank made it impossible to reroute the pipes properly. Sean removed the oil tank, ripped up the subfloor, and reorganized the pipes correctly. The inspector had failed to see this issue and the previous owners did not disclose it. "we had old drain system partially and working sum pump and old sum pump well that was just covered. instead of installing new French drain system entire basement, AJ recommended to install the area that did not have old drain system against the wall, which saved the money. Also, they fill the old sum pump well, add 2nd sum pump that new French drain is connected, added hole to drain water from humidifier. Also because they cleaned the molds and took away any thing in the basement had the mold. All this in one day. The basement hadn't had any water came in to the basement since then.
