"We had several issues when working with them on the installation at the beginning of the summer that were attributed to a sudden change in staffing. Understandable. Then following the install we had to have them return because the screen for the door wasn't aligned correctly. Aggravating, but not the end of the world. Now just a few months later the door is making a loud clicking sound just before it closes. It's louder than the ancient metal-framed door we replaced. We scheduled service for earlier this week and they never showed. We called that evening and didn't receive a call back until three days later. During that call there was no apology and no explanation provided until I asked why they never showed. The excuse this time was a new scheduling system. Because I wasn't available at a time that was convenient for them, we're stuck waiting another two weeks to have someone look at it. Very disappointing."

Avelli Manufacturing Corporation began in Kennedy Twp., PA in 1991 to produce the finest in statues, ornamental pieces and decorative pre-cast concrete products. The goals were to manufacture a complete and diverse line of pre-cast concrete items. This began with the ornamental market supplying to nurseries, flower shops and landscapers. Since then, many steps have been taken toward the commercial and architectural market. As the business grew, it soon became necessary to relocate to a larger facility. In 1994, A.C.C. and A.M.C. moved into a 6,000 sq. ft. facility that enabled us to update and expand capacity. This ensures A.M.C. in maintaining a consistent production of the finest quality of concrete products. With an expanding selection of molds, A.M.C. has mastered the trade experience and capabilities to deliver new products. This allows A.M.C. to produce a custom line of products as well as maintain the standard products that have high market demand. Since 1999, A.M.C. has operated at the 300 Ohio River Blvd., Ambridge, PA factory. "Avelli Construction and Manufacturing Corporation, Ambridge, PA entered into a contract with my family to provide 90-feet of concrete for a driveway with a widening of the driveway from 25 feet to 32 feet at the road and installation of a 4" PVC pipe under the cement pathway to the side steps for electrical and irrigation lines. Avelli poured the driveway but did not widen the driveway to 32 feet or installed the PVC pipe under the sidewalk to the steps AS SPECIFIED IN THE CONTRACT. They are in breach of contract. There were only 2 components to the contract besides pour the driveway. Since then I have requested that they do the following: 1) Install the PVC pipe and fix the landscaping that has been done since the driveway installation. 2) Rip up the driveway entrance at the road on the right (if facing the house) and expand the driveway at the curb to 32 feet. Repair the landscaping that has since been installed because they did not do it correctly the first time. We paid Avelli $22,975 in good faith. They have made multiple excuses and refused to fix the problem. Do not use this unethical company."

"This has been one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. I called in March for an estimate to replace my awning as somehow it went from “good condition” to “poor condition” within the year. They forgot to get back to me and pull my awning. I had to follow up two weeks later. They told me they’d call back but instead mailed a quote. We decided to get our old awning put up instead of replacing this year. They told us it would be four -six weeks to get “on the schedule”. I called back two weeks later asking how much longer. They yelled and told me “another 4-6 weeks”. Then I called back and asked if I could come pick my awning up (they store it) to put ourselves. They told me at that point we were on the schedule to be put up that day. No slight rips were fixed (1 inch or smaller like the contract stated) and I called May 22 and another 4 times to finally get a call back July 7th to be told “if you don’t like us-take your business elsewhere”. We actually had another company look at our awning and stated it wasn’t in poor condition. Very poor business communication and ethic with this company. Do not recommend!"
