"Fantastic. Jonathan knows what he’s doing, very precise with measurements, and has a wide range of abilities. So friendly and personable. He helped transform our new build house into a finished home. He is able to install many things, curtain rods, ceiling shower rods, heavy mirrors, heavy art work, and now is tackling adding wire rack shelves in our closets. Next up some Ikea cabinets in our laundry, and painting our garage. His prices are up front and very reasonable. He is licensed and insured. We feel he is quite a gem to have found! Would not hesitate to hire him again and again. He is very positive, eager to work and does excellent work."

"William is a hard worker and honest. He did a fantastic job with the work and was happy to work with me on changes and adjustments as needed. He made sure I was informed if unexpected issues came up and there were no surprises. William also has a very diverse set of skills. He was able to lay 1500 sq feet of new flooring across multiple rooms. He ripped out the moulding and installed fresh. Painted walls and ceilings. He re framed an exterior door and replaced it with a sliding glass door that I am incredibly happy with. He ripped out my vanity and installed a new one that looks great. And we built my laundry room to give me a ton of more storage space. He also did some gardening and other various repairs around the house. Hire him, you won't regret it."

Fire Pit Installation questions, answered by experts

No, it is not safe to use an outlet that sparked. A spark from an outlet could indicate a short circuit, loose or frayed wiring, or other serious damage. Continuing to use an outlet that sparks can increase the risk of electrical shock, electrical fires, and other hazards. It's important to turn off the power to the outlet at the circuit breaker if possible and avoid using the outlet until a licensed electrician has inspected and repaired it.

They provide early warning, minimize property damage, and ensure safety during fire emergencies.

Your smoke detector might be too high in some homes or circumstances to reach yourself. If you feel unsafe getting on a ladder to replace your hardwired smoke detector, call a licensed electrician or local handyman to knock this project off your to-do list. If you have a battery-operated smoke detector, your local fire department can change the batteries or help you replace the detector—just make sure you call the non-emergency number.

In any case, do not let this project go unresolved, as it could turn into a huge safety issue.

Baking soda is an effective fire reduction method. However, flour and baking powder are very dangerous around flames. Flour is flammable and it can also conduct electricity. The combination can cause serious injury from electrical shock and worsen the situation by adding fuel to the fire. Baking powder is also not an option as it's also highly flammable.

Once your ashes have fully cooled, you can place them in a heavy-duty trash bag and put them into the bin with your normal trash. If you have wood ash, you can add the ash to your composting pile or sprinkle it over your grass or plants directly for added nutrients.
