"Tom from TAF was first to respond from the contractors you suggested. Came and inspected area the next week and emailed me proposal next day. More detailed work than I expected but work nevertheless needed done. Price very reasonable and hope to reach out again if/when I can fit into budget."

"Desmond and Brian were awesome to work with! We purchased an old fixer upper and were really overwhelmed by the amount of work it needed. We wanted to do a lot of the work ourselves, but decided to hire someone to do the messy work for us. Desmond and Brian were more than willing to complete a partial job. We came across many contractors that would only renovate our kitchen from start to finish. After giving us an estimate, they were willing to negotiate some of the pricing to make us feel more comfortable with the cost. They were extremely fair with their price.
The communication was great throughout the whole experience. Desmond frequently called or texted with updates and questions. We were living about 40 minutes away during the renovation and Desmond would send picture updates on a regular basis. On one occasion, the people refinishing our floors (not affiliated with Desmond) accidently left one of our doors open. Our neighbor called Desmond and he came over right away to lock-up for us...so nice!
The work was excellent quality and they were able to complete it within the timeline we needed. We always felt comfortable having them in the house when we weren't there. Both Brian and Desmond are overall great people, did fantastic work, and were fair with work/pricing. We would definitely hire them again!

"Stephen came in and gave us a fair quote and great recommendations as how to approach the finishing of our basement bathroom. We installed a Schluter Shower kit, with full tile throughout the shower (including ceiling). We tiled the bathroom floor, and added a tile accent wall. They also installed some basement windows. The work was done exceptionally well, with great communication from the crew and Stephen. We had a very tight deadline, and Stephen was honest and forthcoming throughout everything. They ended up squeezing us in, and finishing ahead of schedule. Dave (crew lead) was a consummate professional and offered a lot of guidance for decision making while following instructions impeccably well. There were no surprises or change orders and everything came in according to the budget/quote. We will definitely be using Stephen for future projects. It's tough to find good honest contractors these days, and you can't go wrong with Stephen and his crew. Thanks again!"

"A+++ I can't say enough good things about Nolan and the team of professionals that I dealt with from start to finish. Business agent Rob Hancock stayed in touch with me throughout the process and although he said they didn't do stucco repairs he supplied me with the gentleman I did deal with and they were exceptional ( Keiran O'Grady & Seamus - Dan-Mayo stucco, Masonary, cement contractors ). Nolan team led by coordinator Connell and job manager Suzgo Banda were excellent and always timely and professional . However the real highlight was the professionalism showed by their employees, Juan Carlos and Randy. These two gentleman along with Suzgo went above and beyond even our wildest expectation. Showing up at 7 am covering and protecting all landscaping before starting these gentlemen sanded, scraped, powerwashed, masonry sealed all surfaces. Then painted what they could applying two coats on separate days in weeks one and two. The stucco guys came in on a Tuesday and worked on fixing the stucco over the next three days putting several coats on three main areas we needed replaced. Once done Nolans team came back in and are finishing up as I type. We would highly recommend them to anyone who needs painting done inside or out as well as Dun-Mayo for reasonably priced stucco repairs. Also at the end of the job along with their survey they give each customer a $100 voucher towards their next paining project. Pretty awesome. As a footnote in our research we discovered Nolan's employees are given benefits and most have worked with them for 25 years or more. We think this is pretty amazing and as a union man helped make this decision easier."

"We got three estimates for the job, which were all in the same ball park. Based on their angie's list rating and a good experience of a friend, we picked Fine Painters. From the beginning I really clicked with Vivaldo, our sales guy. He was friendly and easy going. I'm not much of a phone person, so I was very happy that he was so responsive to email (unlike a lot of contractors). The two guys on the crew were great: friendly and professional. They did an amazing job. We can't get over how good the place now looks (much better than the old crappy paint job). I was also impressed that the crew cleaned up so thoroughly after the job was finished. We are already planning to use them again for the rest of the house."

"Ronda came to us through our general contractor. She assisted us in selecting our cabinets, counter tops, hardware and tile. She met with us multiple times at our house to work through the cabinet design. And we met with her multiple times at her studio and the tile shop to select our counter top and tile. Always ready to help, she is knowledgeable and has innate design ability. More than that, she can explain her design choices, yet is willing to discuss alternatives and work through the design process in a collaborative manner, bringing many ideas to the table – or kitchen, as it were. She listens to her clients and was able to translate our ideas into a comprehensive design. Throughout the process Ronda worked with our contractor and with us to make certain everything came together as planned. While there were a number of minor snafus, she was always there to make certain issues were resolved and to keep the job moving ahead. Cabinets and counter tops are a significant portion of the remolding cost. Cabinet manufactures are not all that interested in dealing directly with the customer. Rather, they work through their distributors. We purchased our cabinets through Ronda who has a strong working relationship with the manufactures she deals with and can easily work out issues. "To put it simply I will use Joseph Sullivan for any and all painting and dry waling that I ever do in the future. I work with contractors regularly and have never worked with a better contractor. His crew were all extremely professional and sincerely cared about my house and the job they did. They all went above and beyond in all facets of the job. It was a huge job, probably the biggest job he ever did and Joe was extremely communicative and responsive throughout the job. In fact the job is still going on. By the time he is done he will have been 4 months full time and another 2 months on and off as I am finishing up the project. His attention to detail is exemplary. You of course are free to use whomever you wish but if I were you I'd hire Joseph Sullivan Painting it will be the most pain free contractor and painting experience you will ever have."

"Hunt General Contracting installed my attic in a single day, after some of the other contractors I had asked had given me estimates of "1 week" and "we don't work weekends". ONE day, and for a great price as well-- lower than any of the competitors. The workers were all courteous and definitely knew what they were doing.
